Oscar's own dad said that prime for prime, Chavez beats his son. Do you agree?

I’d take a prime Chavez over 135-140 lb Oscar. De La Hoya’s stamina as always would fail him down the stretch in his toughest fights. Chavez would force a pace that he’s simply not comfortable with and he would win a clear decision IMO.

Chavez was past it when he faced dlh, but he was so ineffective that im not sure he could beat him, even in his prime

Tough one. Oscar was pretty beastly at 140 and Chavez would have a hard time dealing with the size disadvantage and long thudding jab. That said he had a granite chin and would keep coming round after round. I think it's probably very close split decision either way.
