Exactly. Stevie can't help that temperament...and against a 135 lb. DLH that works against him. I think it's very, very close though - DLH wasn't that experienced at 135 lbs. and was susceptible to craftiness, guile and disruption....I think he wins but looks a bit bad in the process, even in a firefight (in stretches). Peace.
Oscar's combination of speed, power, height and reach would completely nullify Johnston's craftyness and quickness. Couple that with the tender skin that Stevie has. I see DLH carving him up and TKOing him in the middle rounds without much of a fight.
True, but Oscar did seem to get so much better as the year went on. I agree that the DLH from say the Molina fight struggles with the best available version of Johnston. But in fairness to the topic, Oscar was a lot better at the end of 1995 than he was at the start.
