I'm not a member of twitter myself but some of the back and forth is great. Khans handbags with Malignaggi was funny, as were his digs at Froch. The latest ones seem to be the UK heavyweight Tyson Fury, who has got into it with Wayne McCulloch, and bizzarely, Andre Dirrell. Some snippets: TYSONFURY: Talk of the gym is whether Andre Dirrell is a bigger bitch than Kermit Cintron or Audley Harrison andredirrell: Who do you think you’re gonna beat to become a future champ. Every heavyweight I know would wax you. You are a local fighter, nothin more and nothing less, but keep it up buddy, you just might make the regionals one day TYSONFURY: The only thing that needs waxing is that bum fluff on your face sonny. I think you could achieve a lot more if you didn’t put so much into being a ballerina and an actor. Whine whine whine…in the ring, out the ring – same old tune andredirrell: Wow! What a comeback. Stick to boxing, well I can’t say that, you suck. From now on I’ll call u average Joe. It fits you big guy. Do yourself a favour and put a cheeseburger on your glove, that way the next time you hit yourself it’s for a reason It's schoolboy stuff, I'm probably really bored but right now I'm finding this rather amusing ::
twitter is a great tool for getting up to date reports on breaking sports news and freshly leaked music. reading what clowns like malignaggi think would only clog up ones home page.
REED Doesn't Care Enough about ANY Athlete to Want Up to the Minute Messages on their Whereabouts &/or Goings On.... REED:mj:
Are you on twitter Neil? It's fun to read but I don't see the point in joining purely because it seems like facebook with the status updates and nothing else :dunno:
Yea I'm not a member, but it's funny to read the arguements between fighters, especially when it's two guys who could never possibly fight (Fury-McCullough ::). Musze should join and tell Amir what he thinks :crafty:
Well one of the things I find interesting, is say that a big name fighter is accused of ducking someone or something like that, and it gets all heated up in forums like these, you can be damn sure someone will be saying the same thing directly to them on their page. It's always funny/interesting to see the responses, and most boxers seem to respond. I read on boxingscene that Chad Dawson, for example, is quite easily offended...and threatened to hunt someone down for suggesting he was ducking Kessler ::
yup its a great source of news, if you join then you can follow who you want and read what they post on your home page.
