I think he does. Since Bret's father Stu was an accomplished amateur wrestler and skilled in catch-wrestling and Bret coming from a very decorated amateur wrestling background, I think Bret would've done very well at 205 in the UFC. He was naturally a powerfully built guy at 6' tall and 190 or so(college amateurs) and has more wrestling pedigree and submission ability than guys like Griffin and Franklin. I'd give Bret a hell of a good shot if he had put full training into MMA instead of going into pro wrestling. If we can turn back the clock and put 23 year old Bret Hart, fully utlilizing his training in wrestling/submissions and going into the UFC, he'd be a force and I'd see him making guys like Forrest Griffin look like the f*cking clown he is. Bret would put so many subs and maneuvers on this goof, it'd be funny. Bret would keep his weight at 205 which would be perfect for him and with a little work on striking, I can see him being a vicious MMA fighter. No doubt about it. He's a wrestler by design so taking people down is his speciality. He already has phenomenal cardio and was a very solid strong dude and very athletic.
Where are the rest of these great pro wrestlers? Or are you only going to post "What if" threads about has beens?
