so the inclusion of Lewis-Holy says this list goes back to at least 1999.

Twelve correct predictions in eight years. Well done, Double. You're knocking on the door of 2 correct/year average :bears:

here's some more, just in case there's still people out there who "don't" think Sly is full of shit:

    Corrales/Freitas

    Freitas/Casa

    Forrest/Mosley

    Marquez/Austin

    Trinidad/Mayorga

    Mormeck/Bell II

    Mormeck/Braithwaite

    Gonzalez/Letterlough

And Neil, this isn't patting myself on the back, it's defending myself against a forum-wide attack you grouchy prick.

more a reflection of the ones i'm able to recall than a lack of correct picks, you band-wagon bitch. you're record isn't exactly impeccable. you just happen to not be the victim of a forum-wide assault.

Double, you opened yourself up to this, so don't use insults and name-calling now to defend yourself.

You've had good calls, I remember.

You're just way TOO VOCAL in your bad ones.

And you pick with your heart often. It's ok to do that once in a while (I admit I did for Calz-Kessler at the end of the day)....but you do it alot.

    Peace.

Donny, usually a bonafide expert, was simply smitten with the Scandinavian hunk Kessler.

Donny simply couldn't get past his big Danish biceps, smooth Danish face and soft smile. Sadly this led to him picking Kessler over Calzaghe. I forgive him.

Seriously though let's hear it for Double, we all underestimated him.

He got TWELVE predictions right in eight years.

That's one and a half fights right a year, something that simply passed me by, I had no idea.

I too was fooled by his incredible 1-2 and his great uppercuts... I didn't expect Joe to take his punches that well... Is it forgivable too?

i haven't come close to listing them all. i'm simply refuting the claim by Sly-dick Dsmon-dick that I can't pick "any" fights correctly. I have more. And if I must, I'll keep em coming.

And bear in mind, there's roughly 6 "big" fights a years.

HEY! The scenario was plausible...and admit in the first 6 rounds, you were worried!

    REMATCH!!! :crafty:

Let me be clear: I thought Kessler could win, definitely. And I picked him and stuck to it.

In the days leading up to the fight, though, I felt more and more that Calzaghe could win....but I stuck with Kessler.

That's more what I was referring to...not so much that my liking of Kessler lead me to pick him.

I had it a bit closer than most, though...but I don't remember the consensus scores for that fight.

    Peace.
