Duran wins via UD. It would be a good fight, I think. Better than what most expect. Vargas is a tough guy who had an awesome workrate in his prime and could actually take a good punch. Duran at his 154 pound best, was just better, though. He was quicker, sharper, and more intelligent. Vargas mostly fought off emotion. Thats what fans loved him for. And emotion wouldn't get it done against Duran who had plenty of skills. And Vargas doesn't have the power to hurt him, I don't think. Good fight with some nice exchanges, but its Duran all the way.
