Except for some of the champs/titlists, I'm not up on the Asian contenders. The guy that Kyowa will be fighting, Akira Yaegashi, is he any good? Hopefully Kyowa can continue his winning ways without having to slug it out and get beat up in the process as he did in his last two bouts (against Mayol and Trejo). It would be a shame to see him become "punchy" before the other titlists (Calderon, especially) decide to take him on.
I saw Eagle fight Trejo and Mayol(not live:: ). A fight with Calderon would be fucking awesome to put on a good ppv card. Say Pac/Soto or Hatton/Castillo.
kyowa - calderon would not be 'awesome'. has calderon ever been in an 'awesome' fight? kyowa is fighting some novice. i expect him to win, but if he really has deteriorated from the mayol/trejo fight, i wouldnt be all that shocked if he loses.
Kyowa is the #1 fighter in the 105/108 divisions. It´s ridiculous he doesn´t get more recognition. Mayol and Takayama are top 5 fighters in their division.
