In terms of ranking what people thought about him he could have been possibly on the same level as an Ike Quartey or somebody in that area ...

Agustus wasted his youth , didn't train properly , needed someone to keep him in line ...

 

I doubt it, but he could have been a solid contender. Ike Quartey is a former champ, and top 10 p4p in the mid nineties.

Augustus has some well rounded skills, but he's not really great at anything. He's still my boy, though. :blobbox:

 

If Augustus was "the man", he would have done that shit 11 rounds sooner. Instead, he played around for most of the fight and lost a close decision.

THAT is the "true" Augustus.

 

He has some natural ability ... I made that comment assuming this was an Agustus that trained properly , didn't do drugs , developed a more technical sound fighting style ( deffensive guard , no clowning , no leaving his hands at his waste etc ) and he had somone around to keep him focused on his career ...
He could have turned out to be so much better then he is/was ..
