Anyone notice nearly all of the fighters he's trained recently were guys who were rising stars who were KTFO? Cintron Harris (unlike the others though he was KTFO under Steward's tutelage) Lewis Wladimir
This is a bad thread, mate. You'll need to do better to call Lewis "recent", especially considering he was KOed long before he had anything to do with Steward. Same with Wlad.
no. no. that's my point. he seems to gravitate towards fighters who have already been KTFO. and then he "builds" them back up, supposedly. if you ask me, he just turns em into stinkers.
Hearns? Moorer? McClellan? You and your lust for what you call anti-"stink". Its annoying. You view gutsy brawlers, like Castillo as real fighters and bag people like Lewis? Like Calzaghe? Stop being annoying. :nono:
He has Andy Lee and Johnathon Banks, both undefeated and with Steward from jump. Taylor went to Steward after the two biggest wins of his career.
ok. let's all pretend this thread never happened. can you guys do that for me? :: sorry to have wasted your time. still, i think Steward relishes a challenge - at least a perceived one. and promoting stink seems to be his answer to everything. and Lewis was certainly a great fighter - i'd pick him over just about any heavy-weight in history. but let's face it. he put on a few really bad stinkers with pretty blatant holding.
