Usually in a battle between chin and punch, the guy with the better beard wins. (assuming most other things are equal)

    Any difference in this one?

Chuvalo's beard was something but his skin wasn't all that. If he lasted Shavers' early assault, he would probably turn the fight around in the middle rounds, but I tend to believe that Shavers would cut him up and the bout might be stopped before that happens. Chucalo wasn't such a big puncher that he would take Shavers out early

So this was the forum's inaugural thread?

Unless Shavers busts up or fractures Chuvalo's orbital bone (like Frazier did), I think Chuvalo wears him down and stops him late.

Chuvalo should be able to take his best, then stop him in the mid-rounds. Personally, I think it's a quicker version of the Cobb fight.

Actually the forum is a bit older, it has been around from 2002. Earlier it was called fightworld.us but I am not sure if that was the original name either. The forum was reset in 2006 and the old threads disappeared
