Yeah, unfortunately he's acting like a 12 year-old sparring with his baby brother in the ring.

Garcia looks like Max Baer giving away his title to Jimmy Braddock.

This reminds me of a movie where the young fighter is pissed off at his overbearing dad so he goes out and throws a fight he's supposed to win.

Garcia is fucked in the head. This is what happens when fighters turn pro at 15. His brain is probably already mush. He's talking to people outside the ring, he's talking to the ref.

The guys obviously talented but it looks like he's going to be another one of those too good to be true stories. Definate headcase.

That Garcia fight was one of the strangest I've seen. It sort of had that McCall-Lewis II vibe, but without the crying from Garcia.

He had some sort of breakdown.

Did Julio Cesar Garcia take a dive last night on ESPN FNF?

I was out and missed the fight, but (1) I can't believe that Garcia lost to this guy, and (2) I'm reading all kinds of stuff over the net that Garcia may have taken a dive.

    What happened?

I had an over bet on this fight since the 5.5 over line was +220 - just by watching the first round i wasn't worried anymore about the money lol.

Garcia was swinging some wild shots but Browning ducked and moved out of the way very well. From then on Garcia really stopped trying and let Browning outwork him. He even let him hit him in the face a couple of times in the middle later rounds. And just walked after Browning like an Elephant on valium.

I dunno about a dive - he probably could do better but wasn't mentally up for it.

BTW, u couldn't of asked this in the existing thread u moderating attention ***** ;) ;)

    Thanks.

This kid was on the verge of going to the next level, IMO (next level meaning Shobox, etc). I bet Duran & Co. are very disappointed right now.

(Unless they had bets on Browning...:stir: )

It was very, very suspicious. You can check out the ESPN/Tefefutura thread for my comments.
