Recovered from a spike piledriver instantly to submit opponent with a kimura, recovered from a powerful left hook to the face from a 2 ounce glove to submit opponent with rear naked choke, pummelled various opponents with powerful bombs from the guard......who will stop the Fedor Express?

    Mark Hunt?

    Kharnitov?

Wanderlie Silva? Reports are that Pride Open Class is a go! We may see Fedor vs Silva or Fedor vs Shogun. That'll be interesting should it happen!

I honestly got sick for a second when I saw that happen. I thought Fedor was dead.

IMO, Arlovski is the only guy with a REAL shot at beating Fedor. Maybe Kharitanov, and really no one else. Not saying it cant happen, just not likely

As for the tourney, thats awesome

I'd like to see Hunt/shogun before either one gets matched up against Fedor.

I just think that he's the most well-rounded heavy not named Fedor. Honestly, I dont think Arlovski WOULD beat him, but I think he's got just as good a shot. He wouldnt be nearly as helpless as Cro was once the fight was taken to the ground, that much is certain.

Honestly, I think Fedor is just about unstoppable right now

Good post. I'm a Fedor fan but I will give respect to Arlovski's skills displayed as of late. Arlovski has found the chins of many of his opponents in the past couple of years. Heck he's really improved and is one of the deadliest strikers around.
Who knows? Maybe Fedor gets caught clean on the tip of his chin unexpectedly ala Fedor/Fujita. But Fedor seems to have crazy recuperative powers.
Arlovski though, has been KO'd brutally in 2-3 fights in his career, including against Pedro Rizzo. But Arlovski has indeed improved as a fighter. It's a good fight I think. You can'd underestimated a striker, especially one who's been KOing alot of his opposition with single punches or deadly combos.
I wish Arlovski would ditch the low-paying UFC and put his name into the next Pride Heavyweight Grand Prix.

Fujita whacked Fedor upside his temple; not his chin.

Arlovski would be in with a good shot vs Fedor. He can hang with him on the ground and on his feet. Definitely the #1 contender in the sport.

When I say "He's got a good chin", I mean that he can take a punch.

I'd pay to see Fedor/Arlovski. The top heavyweights in both the UFC and Pride.

Crocop looked scared as hell when he fought Fedor. He was overly cautious thats why he didnt strike as much as he usually does (or do much else).

If he fought fedor before randleman, we would've seen a different crocop. Maybe he'll do better if they rematch.

I think Cro did well on the ground. I was suprised at the fact that Fedor couldnt sub him. he even managed to hurt fedor a couple of times on his back.

I'm suprised that Fedor didnt submit him as well, shit for a second there it looked like Cro had an arm triangle working, but Fedor was quick to pull out of it. That doesnt change the fact that Arlovski is better than Cro on the ground though

Fedor seemed content to punch from the guard. I think he prefers pounding rather than submission. He usually will try for the submission if he sees an opening. Cro defended himself well on the ground. He should be commended for it. If the fight though had gone 1 more round, it would've been over by KO or submission for Fedor, since CroCop at the end of the fight was falling down by himself without any assistance, totally spent.

This incarnation of Tam is only a newborn. Give him time to become sick with the world and you shall see some old form return.

    All is well right now.
