Name em. This is a thread that might be dominated by Roy. I still maintain that the one-two he dropped Reggie Johnson with was the fastest combo ever thrown. Its mind boggling how fast it was! Also the flurry off punches he stopped Tony Thorton & Brannon with were also outta this world. But how bout some others, and some NOT involving Roy. What are the fastest combos ever thrown?
I think it was against Brannon where Roy threw four left hooks in a row with unbelievable speed. That might be the most impressive one I have ever seen Ali's finishing combo against Brian London was awesome. It is impossible to count the shots
Yeah I know what you're talkin bout. It was the begining of the second round that Roy threw those hooks. Unbelievable. I know some like to say that Leonard, Camacho, and Taylor had faster hands than Roy, but I just cant see it. To me Roy had the fastest P4P hands of all time, hands DOWN! But speaking of Leonard, the combination Ray KO'd Davey Green with was ultra fast.
Shane Mosleys combo against Stone. Shane actually looked worried that he killed Stone. Roys finishing combo on Thornton is the best combo i have ever seen. That must have been more then 30 punches in 5 seconds.

A right cross, left hook, left uppercut combo in the bat of any eye. SICK. The hands are still amazing. And they're the only reason why Jones, even at this advanced stage, is still capable of pulling off an upset

Really? I dont recall any Mel combos in that fight being wickedly fast. Hell I dont even remember Taylor getting off many combos on Norris. Terry beat the shit outta him. Some of Taylor's combos against McGirt, and against Chavez the first time were wickedly fast however.
REED ISN'T as Impressed w/that Particular Combo as Most... Roy was Mainly just TOUCHING Thornton w/his Shots, but the Combo's Against Brannon & Reggie Johnson were HURTFUL... REED
The Fastest HEAVYWEIGHT Combo Arguably Occured During Ali-Cleveland Williams... Ali even Mixed N the SHUFFLE... REED:clap:
For those that haven't seen it...1:35 and 6:45 of the video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXa6opui5L4
It was five you SOB, I made the clip for you guys, just because he only connected 4 of them doesn't mean 5 didn't occur :nono: .....oh, and it happened in ONE second  <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xqCAGCHdWjE&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xqCAGCHdWjE&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
The combinations against Cleveland Williams has to be the best of Ali's career. Let's not forget about Meldrick Taylor's combo's were amongst the best in the history of the game! I can't think any who may have been better.:dunno:
The fastest most fluid hands I've ever seen were old clips of SR Robinson. In my lifetime... Ray Leonards KO combination vs. Davey 'boy Green,...and especially RJ's quadruple left hook on Bryant Brannon.
Back then....he was as strong as ANYONE at 130, as fast as anyone I have ever seen...one of the best jabs ever, and conditioning was never a factor And looking over his vast and extensive career....he was NEVER stopped. Prime Camacho beats alot of great fighters in my opinion.
Camacho only beat Limon at that point because Limon was Dead, with a capital D...like that was his name.
