FB STATUS UPDATE

Hello everyone,

First let me say I'm glad that many of our forum members are still regular visitors here on the site. After a few ups and downs I think people calmed down and the forum is back to order.

Currently my plans are to have a meeting with a few people here in NYC regarding some plans to revamp FB and get the ball rolling again.

What I would like to know is if there is anybody here that lives in Vegas and Los Angeles that has the time and equipment to do regular coverage for FB. I think the way to go will be to divide ownership of FB in quarters based on coverage. I'm going to talk this over with a few people I trust, but that's just what I'm thinking. I'm open to any suggestions and certainly any volunteers who like to either partner or become a contributor.

I'm also planning on making some modifications to the homepage to make it easier to update an include external content.

Thanks again for sticking around and always voicing your opinion. I also see that the official "Everyone shit on Cupey" thread is doing remarkably well.

cupey, link the forum threads, or latest threads to the homepage, like sherdog.com

 

How about an updated schedule of relevant fights...accompanied with something like a couple sentences to a paragraph detailing it...doesn't have to include a prediction, but something more than just a recapping what's in the press releases...and more like who is the favoirte, who should be favored and what to watch for. IOW, a brief break down of the fight.

Maybe some kind of amateur page...perhaps with some semi-regular interviews...something featuring national golden glovers, national team members. There's very little information about any amateur boxers on the internet, even with the abundance of boxing sites.

A chat room set up for big fights.

And while there is a chat room...everybody still congregates in the round-by-round threads on fight nights.

Well I'll be the first to say I'm shocked at this turn of events. Completely unexpected.

 

Well, I would sell now if someone makes me an offer. Tell me know and I'll walk away from this. I'm willing to do less than half of what I originally wanted just to get this done. But if not, then what other choice do I have other than to try and move forward again.

Sadly, your credibility is shot. The potential buyers you had are no longer interested and you have an overinflated idea of the worth this site.

Maybe, but like I said I'm not asking for that.

Really wish I had the time like the old days. Trying to find a balance to do both. That's why I still hope for someone to buy me out, but I just can't let it die. So that's why I'm rethinking how to make things better in case I have to continuing moving the site forward.
