Fedor says sambo is just a hobby of his. MMA is his profession.

The Bulgarian dude that beat him is actually 23.

He just managed to counter a botched throw by Fedor and got big points for it. It was nothing even remotely dramatic.

Fedor was EXPOSED and really looked like a bitch..

kinda sad cuz everyone was jocking him and he lost to this bum

his aura of invinicibilty is gone and he'll prolly tap in his next fight no matter who he fights

    1/10 retard.

Sambo is something that Fedor does in his off time. Not putting as much concentration on it as MMA. It's kind of irrelevant as amateur boxing is to the pro's. Lame ass point system that has doesn't have much meaning when it comes to MMA.

Besides, it's his first loss in 8 years in Sambo, I think he deserves a break.

Bulgarians are always good in sports like sambo, wrestling, and amateur boxing.

I think that the best way to get started in MMA is to take Sambo first.

"Sambo is my hobby, and I enjoy very much participating in these tournaments to honor my country and use Sambo as the best training format for MMA," Emelianenko stated. "But MMA is my job, and I certainly approach my preparation differently. I had a nice run of Sambo victories since 2000, but I have lost in a Sambo match before this match as well. I think a lot of MMA fans have never seen Sambo before, so I guess you can say I am happy that the recent loss has made some people pay attention to the sport and see the differences between Sambo and MMA."
