looking forward to it, it's always an event when Fedor fights, I am also looking forward to MOusasi's fight.

Mousasi is the real deal. He is the next big thing IMO. He is so relaxed in there and well-rounded too.

    Good night of fights.

I'll just copy and paste my previous thoughts on this fight...

My prediction is Fedor via armbar in Rd 1.

The rest of the night will see...

    Shields by 2nd round submission
    Mousasi by 1st round GNP
    Werdum by uneventful decision

I hope they put the Mousasi fight on first, as I think the Werdum\Silva fight is gonna be boring and sloppy. I'd hate to have people who are watching Strike Force, or even MMA, for the first time see that fight and lose interest and change the channel before seeing the rest of the card. I think having Mousasi put on a clinic would be a great way to hook new viewers.

My buddy and I were talking and we have the exact same opinion. I have a feeling Rogers is going to win big, but I want Fedor to win for the good of MMA.

I have played the fight through my head many times, and I dont see how Fedor could lose except for some freak money punch.

All Fedor has to worry about are Bretts hands. No takedowns, no kicks, and no submissions.

The only way Fedor loses is if he is too proud, decides to stand and bang, and gets caught. And even that is a strech as Fedor is soo fast for a HW.

If Fedor plays it safe, he takes it to the ground for a brutal G&P or submission.

Thanks. I don't know if i'll get it on satellite. If not i'll have to find a stream. Preferably Sopcast. Web streams are the shittiest.

Yes this is the type of opponent that could pop Fedor's 'invincibility' bubble, a huge rangey striker, if Fedor is smart he should do a Hopkins-esque loop followed by a clinch so that he can take advantage of his brilliant sambo to slap it onto the ground,.. then he'll probably latch a Kimura onto one of Rogers long arms for the win.

If he stands and fancies himself the kickboxing champion of the world however, Rogers better have a glass chin like Arvlovski, because I fancy Brett to stone him nicely.

Once again MMA fighter loses fight due to dumbass tactics. Instead of keeping the fight standing Silva takes it to the ground in round two gets outworked and worn down.:lol:
