Great fight! If Fedor can beat the great Pedro Rizzo he should challange Tank Abbott next! And then if the world doesn't end in December he should fight KEN FUCKING SHAMROCK in 2013. HOly shit I'm excited !

Damn, this is sad. He obviously doesn't have it anymore and he's milking it. This must be how fans of Joe Louis felt when he turned to pro wrestling. I heard Rolles Gracie was considered as an opponent---the same Rolles Gracie who turned in the worst performance by a Gracie in the Octagon EVER.

    Fedor needs to retire.

Well its not that he is milking it, he just cant fight anyone because all the best guys are in the UFC and strikeforce. What i think he is trying to do is get up a good enough win streak and try and make a run at the UFC again.

Yeah, perhaps but Pedro is beyond used up. I could see Pedro landing something big. If he has anything left, he could make this really tough on Fedor. I think Vadim is counting on Rizzo being totally shot and concussion-prone from all his KO losses. It kinda sickens me actually, and I hope Pedro wins this.

Fedor might be barnstorming like Foreman did when he first came back, but fighting dead dogs is not a way to prepare for the UFC. Maybe Fedor is trying to get his confidence back, but it looks pretty bad.

I just dont know who fedor can fight. He can only fight what is available to him. He is still dangerous tho. And i will tell you he is still young enough where if he changed his training, he could be even more effective.

I think that's the problem. I think he's now set in his ways and unlikely to adapt. He's a small heavyweight, and he looks like he's in worse shape with every fight, getting fatter and fatter. His handskills looked very eroded against Henderson. It looks like he isn't even training hard anymore. He'll always be my favorite, but he can't or isn't willing to do the things he needs to do to have success against top competition in this day and age.

Honestly, this is no different from what Fedor was doing prior to Strikeforce.

Hong Man Choi, Tim Sylvia and Arlovski are no less pathetic as opponents than Jeff Monson and Pedro Rizzo.

I'm really shocked he isn't talking to Bellator. I think that would be a great move IF his goal is to get back to being respected. But if his goal is to simply cash out using his name then M-1 is guiding him perfectly.

Rizzo hasn't fought in nearly two years. His last fight was against Ken Shamrock in 2010. There are about a million guys he could have fought that are better than this. I hope he kicks Fedor in the face and KO's him.

Wow, that must be the most ridiculous post I've seen in years. Arlovski was the rage before the fedor fight, coming off victories over rothwell, werdum and nelson. Sylvia had just lost a war for the interim ufc title. Theyre's absolutely no comparaison between them and rizzo at this stage of his career

    Yeah, you're probably right.

Sylvia and Arlovski only look bad in retrospect. Considering Sylvia was knocked out cold by Mercer following Fedor and Arlovski lost 4 straight after Fedor.

So you're right. Going into the fights there is no comparison. So just use Hong Man Choi, Matt Lindland, Mark Coleman, Wagner Martins instead.

It's still Fedor going BACK to fighting bums.

He had enough chances to come to the UFC. If Dana the cunt isn't blowing smoke then Fedor was offered millions. Fedor's own fault.
Now look at him. Submitted by triangle in his first fight, battered and bloodied to the point of not being able to continue in his next fight, and then KTFO clearly in his third fight.
3 devastating losses. His name is in the mud. Nobody needs to see him anymore let alone pay to see him. He's lost everything. The mystique is all gone.

I agree with everything you said except the fatter part. He looked great against Henderson. But of course he weighed 223
