Felix Sturm will take on Pavlik, Hopkins, Calzaghe or Kessler next.

Sturm said he has bigger fish to fry than Arthur Abraham, so I´m guessing he´ll take on one of the four above. :bears::bears:
He says Abraham wouldn´t be enough of a challenge, and only became famous for his broken jaw, while Sturm does it with his world class skills.

..and I can´t tell whether Sturm is serious.

All 4 of those guys would smash that fraud with minimal effort, as would Abraham.

Uh, uh, uh, uh,..You say that as if Jermaine is somehow inferior to these guys?,... For one, he holds victories over everybodies beloved Bernard Hopkins in particular, :nono: Thomas.

That was then. If Jermain looks highly impressive against Lacy maybe that fight could be made. Nobody is going to call out Taylor at his point for the obvious high risk low reward issue.

I certainly hope so. Lacy has looked ripe for taking for a while and Taylor doesn't need to just win, but look good doing it.

Sturm did whoop Abraham twice as an Am.

He did talk a little smack about Abraham but said he would accept Abraham's challenge. Abraham said he'd fight Sturm for free, Sturm is accepting. I doubt it happens but it's kind of funny.

I think it's a very winnable fight for Sturm but he'd have to be very careful.

It's kind of like Foreman-Moorer in that one guy should be able to outbox the other, but is always in danger of being taken out at any time.

Yep. He'd have to basically avoid any clean shots the whole fight. He could win though. It's a fight I'd like to see. Other than Pavlik vs Abraham it's the only other fight that really means much at 160.

Was it an eliminator Mundine just won? I saw that he was looking for a Sturm fight but didn't think he was his mandatory.

.....remember when Sturm was robbed* vs DLH?.....a performance like that, and somehow still managed to make his career go backwards

*maybe 'robbed' is strong......but i thought he did enough for a draw at least

What. That what a horrific robbery. HBO should have given that poor bastard two softies on HBO to kill. I hate when people get robbed. That was wrong. That guy beat Oscar down. To me it was a 9-3;10-2 fight for Sturm.

sturm looked sharp and in top shape against sylvester. he also looked pretty good against randy griffin in the rematch. so far, he has beaten better quality opposition than abraham.

i think sturm vs. abraham would be a good competitive fight (unless sturm runs like a bitch).

I doubt Abraham would lose to Castillejo by kayo. They are both at best bottom level world class fighters. They both lose to Jt and both get kayoed by Pavlik.

After Joe Calzaghe retired and Abraham made such a poor offer Universum has decided that fighters with losses on their record like Pavlik, Kesler or Hopkins wouldn´t be worthy of sharing a ring with the Sturminator, so they turned their attention to the more talented brother, undefeated underground legend Tarvis Simms, whose only blemish was an outrageous draw against Robert Frazier. :bears:

Big mistake by Simms´manager to go public, now Universum will look for another scrub ranked in the lower 100´s at boxrec.

You can really see Kohls checklist:

    1. We talk some bullshit about fights with Abraham and Pavlik.

    CHECK.

    2. We need an opponent with a KO percentage of less than 50%.

    25 fights 11 KOs. CHECK.

    3. He must have a glossy undefeated record.

    24-0-1. CHECK.

    4. He must have a fight on his record that suggests he´s not very good.

    Draw with Robert Frazier. CHECK.

    5. Receive tapes to confirm status as hopeless challenger.

    CHECK.
