How does this highly entertaining fight go between the power punching seek-and-destroy Trinidad against the flashy, versatile, and aggressive Gavilan? Can Trinidad put a dent on Gavilan or would Gavilan be able to outfight Trinidad?
Gotta go with Gavilan but the styles IMO will make for a great fight. Kid won’t just run around like a pussy the way Oscar did and when Tito catches him clean, he WILL absolutely fire back. I see a lot of great exchanges but Gavilan’s chin and stamina really are gonna suit him well here. He probably doesn’t KO Trinidad, but by the mid-late rounds, I think he begins to pull away. His hand speed and skill advantage would be huge. Trinidad accounts himself well but is on the wrong end of a unanimous decision in a fun fight. Gavilan via hard fought but clear UD.
