Felix Trinidad vs Marlon Starling @ WW

Who would you favor in this interesting match up? Trinidad was never beaten at the weight but had his flaws while Starling was inconsistent but brilliant when on point. Would Trinidad be able to outwork and possibly put some hurt on Starling or would Starling be able to pull off a similar boxing lesson on Trinidad much like what Wright did?

 

Starling would out-box Trinidad yet Trinidad winds up winning the decision

 

I take Trinidad via clear decision.

I find Tito underrated and Starling over the years has become overrated.

I long told Cdogg that he overrated Starling.

He tried to argue that Starling was every bit the level of McCallum FFS.

 

Unacceptable.

 

I understand the stylistic problems that Starling could potentially pose for Tito, but simply put, I don't trust him to win this. IMO, there were too many instances in his career where he failed to go the extra mile in a big fight and ended up coming up short.

 

IMO, Starling just seemed to lack a certain indefinable quality that would distinguish him as a true great.
