There is not enough talk about this interesting fight. I see Tito having a good shot here. He dosent look smaller than RJ, in fact he looks bigger in some pics thus far. If Tito takes his power with him, 1 BOMB is all it will take to either end the fight or change the outcome of the fight. Thoughts?
wow...a free trip. We know you're crashing at Joony's. :: When Jones-Trinidad first finalized, Muzse calls Jake... Muzse: Jake, I know you're going to Jones-Trinidad Jake: Nah, I can't justify goin' back to New Yawk for that. Muzse: Jake, please. You know you're going. Jake: Nah, I don't understand what that fight accomplishes. I ain't goin'. I don't know if I'd buy the pay per view. Muzse: Yeah right. Jake: Nah. Fast forward to today... See above post.
I think this fight is going to be better than some expect. It's really up to RJ, he can either make it exciting or stink the joint up.
TRANSLATION: he can turn Tito into a Pez dispenser like Winky or he can knock Tito out early and save Tito's fans 36 minutes of an ass whupping.
bastid :: it depends on whether or not a fighter for whom I'm doing publicity (Jameson Bostic) remains on the card. For the moment he's scheduled. But all that said, my daughter most likely has a basketball game that day, which has me right back to most likely not going (to the fight), and if not, then not ordering the PPV since he won't be on the televised portion.
The same was said when RJ fought Glen Johnson and he was KTFO! You RJ fans are bitches. Your scared Tito will KHTFO for the 3rd time!
Yeah right... In the event you DON'T go (and I believe you will) I'm saying the same thing I said after your first denial of purchasing Vargas-Mayorga... I require a copy of that months cable bill as proof of non-purchase. ::
no problem. I get my next bill in... two weeks I believe. Mayo-free. (though you will be disappointed to know that I;m ordering Floyd-Hatton)
I know, and I'm not happy about it. But I hate going to Sports bars around here, and nobody else ever wants to host a fight party. So it's me and all two of my boxing buddies out here tuning in. ::
tito has a chance because roy's reflexes have diminished and his chin is made of fine china these days. and for that reason phonetap doesn't see roy willing to commit to knocking tito out...he's not going to risk getting countered with anything. phonetap suspects this fight will not be a "fight", it will be a sparring match. damn, phonetap hopes he's wrong...
I made a promise with myself that I would never pay to watch Roy Jones fight ever again after Tarver III. I hope I don't reconsider come fight night. ::
<!-- / message --> :: Why are Beavis and Butthead always giving me trouble! I'm still a Roy Jones fan...but why the hell should we be interested in him fighting Tito Trinidad, a blown up welterweight that's been inactive for a few years and in his last fight was EMBARASSED by Winky Wright...12 rounds to ZIP!!:dunno:
that's kind of my thoughts as well, that if Roy doesn't blitz him early it becomes a tedious exhibition throughout the 2nd half. but as far as Tito knocking him out - I just don't see Roy taking the unnecessary risks, unless he fights the entire fight like he has something to prove. Even with Roy's diminished skills, I don't see Tito doing it in one shot, and do believe that Roy has enough left to neutralize anything Tito brings to the table, especially at 170, which I believe Roy will comfortably make.
well, believe it or not (and Hanzy may want to sit down for this one), they're actually more FLOYD fans then they are BOXING fans.
You know the only thing hard about this fight is picking which round Tito KO's this bum. I'm predicting around 6--unless Tito feels like doing it sooner. Cupey
dawg you think EVERY Puerto Rican fighter has a shot. if Iron Boy was going against Wlad would you like his chances
