Another big scoring round, everyone scored in double figures. The big scoring fight was the main event, with 4 posters correctly predicting a Chavez Jr UD and earning 10 points (including yours truly! :crafty:).

Prediction of the round has to go to Matchup_Analyzer who was the only poster to score a 10-pointer outside the Chavez Jr fight when he correctly predicted Soto KO 4, whats more is that he also predicted Chavez UD as well and was the top scorer for Round 3, with his score of 29pts being the record for most points scored in any one round! This propelled him up the table from 17th place to 7th, only 10 points off 2nd place, and a real contender for the title, even more astonishing considering Matchup_Analyzer also didn't post a prediction for the 1st round. So credit where credit is due, is anyone going to break the 30 point barrier for points in one round? Looks like it is due soon!

Another mention must go to Pagan, who was the only one to correctly predict a win for Khurtsidze, just missing out on the 10 points as it finished as a SD win and not a UD.

In the table, REEDsART has opened up a gap between himself and Salaco of 3pts for second spot, the chasing pack sense blood and are moving in for the kill! Salaco needs a big round next time out to haul himself back in the race!

But, as is becoming a familiar pattern now, the biggest round of applause has to go to *Z* who has extended his lead from 11 points to 15 points at the top of the table! *Z* also keeps his record going for the third consecutive round of scoring 20 points or above in a round! Is anyone going to catch him? It's notable that no one has been able to reduce the gap at the top in any round so far, so it's fairly apparent this needs to be done soon as he is going to start to walk away with it!

Also, just a few points to go over, a few people were complaining about the quality of the fights which were picked, as i stated, it was one of those quiet weekends where there really wasn't alot to choose from, these rounds will pop up now and again, you just gotta get what you can from them, besides, all the usual big hitters got big scores again, so there can be no excuses! The Khurtsidze fight was the "random" fight of the round, I gave posters 3 fights from the other side of the pond on a televised card and one from this side of the pond, in a bout which was televised here. Whilst I can appreciate that alot of our US-based posters may not have heard of Dodson or Quigley, it was a reasonably big domestic fight over here and gave posters a pretty balanced 5 bouts. Besides, most of you predicted that fight correctly anyway! As for Peter-Chambers not being included, the fight was on a friday, and for the competitiveness of the league I try not to include friday night fights as it doesn't give some posters enough time to get their predictions in, and more people posting predictions the better. Sorry to rant, just felt it needed some clearing up!

From 12th spot down, none of you posted this week, which is a shame as a few of you are still in contention and scored big in Round 2, you missed out on an opportunity to claw some ground back. Still though, theres always Round 4, which offers much better fights such as Bradley Vs Holt, so stay tuned, and once again, thank you to everyone who took part this round and good luck for the rest of the competition!

As always, if you feel I have tallied your scores up incorrectly or if I have missed anyone out, let me know and I will sort it out asap. Thanks.

    Stay tuned for Round 4!
