FightBeat Prediction League II. Round three...Results and Standings

It was an interesting round three, which caused some major changes in the title race. We now have yet another table topper this week, looks like it will be very competitive all the way through!

As we now know, the results were Ward UD and Romero UD. The Thompson fight was called off last minute due to Thompson suffering a torn rotator cuff, more information about the injury here: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=24097&more=1

That fight being called off possibly prevented three of our posters achieving the first ever Full House Bonus, and it DID serve to give two of our posters the first ever 0 points scored in a round this season.

Top predictors this round were jaman, meetthefeebles and shake_and_bake83 who all got the Ward and Romero fights 100% correct. This result puts meetthefeebles top of the table for the first time, a mere 3 points ahead of Bob N Weave and jaman in joint second, and propels shake_and_bake83 into the top 5! Well done to those posters :bears: Honourable mention to BOSS and mikE as well, who scored well and got points in the Romero fight (even though BOSS was screaming a conspiracy ::) and only missed out on the full 20 by predicting the wrong method. BOSS remains in a strong position in 4th spot, only four points off the top.

I'm afraid REEDsART and The Ripper join our resident boxer Otis 3OG Griffin from last season as the only posters to achieve a 0 round. Proof that maybe sometimes it's better to go with head over heart in the FL. However if the gamble had paid off they'd both be laughing at us now, maybe these things even themselves out in the long run!

We had two debutants this round, Irish 2002/2003 and mexican wedding shirt. Irish gambled on Green but went for Romero W12, unfortunately he didn't specify UD or SD so only gets 6 points instead of the full 10.
