I just can't do it. It just hurts me too much to walk away from everything we've done to make this happen. I can't put a price tag on it. We've done amazing things, taken the site from the bottom and reached a level of recognition and respect throughout the media world. I have a lot of respect for all of the people that have helped build this site throughout the years and I feel I would be letting them down by simply walking away from our creation. Plus, seeing this place go into the hands of the wrong people would be a sad story.

So I ask you, CAN YOU HELP US OUT?

With me working 12-hours a day 3-days a week and then 9 for 2 days, plus 8 hours of school on the weekend I REALLY NEED HELP.

Can you contribute with articles, videos, help do interviews and radio shows? Do you want to help FightBeat be here another 10 years. Cupey, honestly... You want to take this to another level? You have to put it in the hands of investors and whore it. I mean, you should get involved with some Advertising Agency, or some Marketing Firm, some promoter, PR agency. Somebody already high up there who can inject money into this little project and make it big. That way you can stop working and dedicate yourself 100% to this, then hire writers and pay for videos, have correspondents everywhere, etc. It's just my opinion.

a lot of you jokers say that you're willing to contribute now either via writing or radioshow, but once you realize that you have something better to do that day and you're not getting compensated for your work, you're not gonna give a shit.

that's where and how this site fell apart in the first place (if it was ever in place) due to lack of consistency from so called contributors.

Reed pens his thoughts more often and frequent than anyone else probably, but it's not like he has some sort of a set schedule nor an actual following.

also, cupey likes to go on his hybernation mode and not respond at times. what this site really needs is a new owner or at least a new director.

P.S. I agree with Joony to a certain degree. Contributors need to be more consistant and we need one person to step up and help with the day to day tasks of communicating with people and setting up deadlines. It's not an easy task, and you don't get paid. But there are advantages like getting into fights and just the fact that FightBeat is your home you should know that in every home there are sometimes chores to do.

Cupey, thats on you to try to mend those bridges, but I think if you get those people back on our side, and get a group of us to coordinate things, shit can be back to where it deserves to be.

You know who needs to be more consistent? The fucking owner. You're so slack with emails and PM's mate, sometimes its beyond frustrating trying to get in contact with you.

I contribute when I can and never asked for anything in return. The time is coming up when I think I'll be able to help out again as well, but I'm not going to bother if I have to sit around for days waiting for a reply from the only contactable 'editor'.

 

you know what, I think this is the time for the solution to this problem that should've come years ago, and that is having multiple people with the ability to coordinate things and get material on the homepage.
