So I am looking for fighters who usually beat their opponents up the worst. Not quick KOs nor dominating outboxing performances but guys who turn their opponents into mess. Often they are fighters with solid but not devastating punching power

    Some examples

    Manny Pacquiao
    Antonio Margarito
    Vitali Klitschko
    Mikkel Kessler

    Vitali Klitschko
    Bernard Hopkins
    James Toney
    Barrera, Marco Antonio
    Leona Lewis
    Joe Calzaghe

in terms of how i see it, these guys seem to actually enjoy and take pride in giving someone a slow and sustained beating and breaking their hearts, you can sometimes see them smiling while they do it, and sometimes have plenty of opportunities to score KO's but prefer to long out the pain

If we're talking all time, then it has to be Duran.

Duran - Moore is one of the sickest performances I've seen. Duran was a sadistic bastard.

I have to admit that the Hips Of Hump is a good example here. Lewis and Hopkins are not, neither has too many performances that would fit in

hopkins is a nasty fucker, he looks like he wants to bum you, you can tell he enjoys handing out beatings.

i have to say i cant believe i forgot duran, good call, that guy loved dishing it out, and chavez as well, fuck

lewis could have knocked out mike at any point from round 4 onwards, but he was loving it

Even though he sucked, Tito Trinidad is a good example. The combination of being a huge puncher and a shit finisher must be what done it.

I agree. Lewis was a massive puncher, but hardly inflicted career ending beatings on people.

And Hopkins, well, he has a nasty, rough style, but he doesn't really savagely beat people. He never did actually, he's always been more crafty than a downright savage.

I think Hopkins more dominates than actually does damage. Younger Hopkins had more examples of the other. As for Lewis, Tyson and Morrison are among th few he actually beat up. Otherwise he either played it safe or blasted them out

you have to take into account mental beatings as well, for example i really dont think pavlik will ever be the same again, he got utterly humiliated in that fight. Sure physically he was fine a couple days after but hopkins dished out such a whupping that he wont ever be the same Pavlik we saw previously. Same with Tito, he was finished after the B-Hop fight

The first two to come to my mind were Miguel Cotto and Julio Cesar Chavez.
