What are some fights that you are hoping to see get made and could possibly see it happen this year? For me these are the biggest fights that I would love to see:

Chocolatito vs Gallo 3 is a shoe-in for 2022 for sure.
    Fury vs Usyk
    Beterbiev vs Bivol
Crawford vs Spence (still holding on to that hope)
    Kambosos vs Haney
    Loma vs Stevenson
    Boots vs Ortiz
    Inoue vs Fulton
    Ioka vs Ancajas

Here's some decent fights I think could realistically get made in 2022:

    Ramirez vs. Bivol
    Beterbiev vs. J. Smith
    Thurman vs. Spence
    Benavidez vs. Charlo

    Despite Fimo's loss, I still wouldn't mind seeing Taylor-Lopez.

Yep, still an interesting fight. Taylor is not as elusive as Kambozo, so i think teo has a shot

Depends on how he rebounds, mentally.

I didn't think much of Kambosos' defence. Taylor might get hit more than you'd like, but I don't think Lopez in that form gets anywhere with him. He'd take a real pounding against Taylor or Prograis.

I dont wanna keep sleeping on Kam, but I dont give him much chance against Loma.

I'll be rooting like Hell for Kam to pound that diva, but I see Kam getting lit up.

    I'd much rather Loma win.

    Kambosos isn't very interesting IMO.

I dont find the matchup all that compelling because I cant see the case for Kam winning.

    That's why I'd much rather see Loma-Stevenson.

No way Charlo moves up to fight Benevidez. He won't even fight the second best guy at 160 Andrade. It would be a great fight if it did happen.

Why are you insinuating Taylor is ducking Lopez?

To each his own. I feel like Kam might be a bit underrated now. Despite being undefeated and now the undisputed champion at 135. If you think about it he has a better resume than a few of the existing world champions at 135 but for most boxing fans the guy doesn’t carry a similar superstar aura like a Loma, Stevenson or Davis. Before the Fimo you could argue he didn't hold any major titles(Ibf pan pacific and wba oceana titles). But with his recent win what's not to like? Other than not having the right promotion of a Stevenson, Davis, or Garcia.

I'm not insinuating anything you can listen to it straight for the horses mouth. Trust me I'm not the type to spread false rumors. I can only go by on what the guy said when asked about fighting Fimo. Not a fight he's too excited about. Never said anything about ducking. I know you love your UK fighters but damn try to relax lol.

I said you insinuated it, not that you explicitly said it. Key difference.

This video is from less than a month after Lopez's embarrassing loss; Lopez was a contender, coming off a loss, in the division below. Why would Taylor openly call him out? If Lopez gets in a position to actually make the Taylor fight - and that doesn't include beating some nobody at 140 then demanding the fight - then I'm 100% certain Taylor would take the fight. It'd be the biggest money of his career, and a pretty easy win.

And btw, I actually prefer Lopez to Taylor so I don't know why you're immediately pinning some sort of bias on me.

Josh is clearly terrified of the mighty Fimo. He rather fight that soft touch nobody from Nebraska.

I'm in complete agreement, Kambosos is more proven than Davis, Garcia and Haney. Even coming off a bad loss, Lopez himself is still far more proven than the three of those.

I don't have any particular interest in Davis, Garcia or Haney anyway. None are particularly special, all seem happy avoiding the other and the hype each of them receive for praying on poor opponents in calculated 'risks' is ridiculous.

Kambosos doesn't really do anything special technically, doesn't have a big punch and isn't particularly quick. He is clearly very tough and is very willing to trade and impose himself, but he completely lucked out in getting a really poor version of Lopez. No matter what spin anybody tries to put on it, the Lopez who fought Kambosos was NOT the fighter who fought Loma or Commey.

The only two fighters around that weight I take large interest in are Loma and Stevenson. I pay more attention to good fighters than good fighters who do nothing.

Being in the UK, neither Davis or Stevenson have ANY relevance here and they definitely don't have a 'superstar' aura. Lomachenko, however, had a MASSIVE effect on then general public when he fought here vs Campbell. That's the only high level fight I've been to, so I can't compare the atmosphere, but I can say for absolute certain that that fight was talked about far more than the majority of other fights - and that includes heavyweight fights. Lomachenko's fight here was far bigger than Davis' was.

That's some mentality you got. That's the problem with boxing. The fans who automatically assume if a guy doesn't want to fight another guy they're ducking. There's a million other reasons why fights don't make sense. Iran Barkley if he's still alive is working as a security guard for a living. Zab Judah works as an EMT. These are perfect examples of boxers that didn't make wise investments. At the end of the day it takes guts just to step in the ring and you can't blame the guys that get Punched for a living for wanting to make smart financial decisions. Taylor is right. Fimo has nothing he wants. No undefeated record, no undisputed title, not really a marquee name. If he doesn't want to fight Lopez it would be a smart financial decision.

Kambosis is a solid guy, but he's a big underdog against Loma and Stevenson.

Might have somewhat of a chance against Tank, but not a great chance. I think Tank would catch and finish him eventually.

Kam is very live against Haney and Kingry though.

Kambosos made a fan out of me, I like his attitude and he's fun to watch. I do agree though I think Loma beats him comfortably. Kambosos-Tank would be the most fun to watch out of any potential future match-ups.

I disagree that he faced a lesser version of Lopez. I don't believe for a second the sickness excuse

I dont buy that anything was wrong with Lopez physically, but he CLEARLY underestimated Kam and didn't use any of his tools.

Same deal as Tyson-Douglas. Though there was nothing physically wrong with Mike, he was clearly only at 50%.

Not the best comparison, as Fimo is nowhere near as good as Mike was, and perhaps even at his best Kam gives him problems, but you get my point.

Wilder vs Fury 4-Theres still people that believe Fury cheated that whole "glove gate thing". Wilder fought a lot of bums or guys past their prime like Ortiz who was a lot older then what's on his birth certificate. Something common with Cuban fighters.

Ward vs Canelo-its only been 4 years since Ward retired. He's slightly past his prime but his body is well rested. A rested fighter is a dangerous fighter. Just Ask Keith Thurman.

Crawford vs Jermall Charlo- if he moves up two divisions and beats the big Charlo I will personally put him at #2 in my p4p list.

Ward is only "slightly" past his prime???

    Ward's prime was 2009-2012.

But in 2022, he's only "slightly" past his prime??

    Jesus Christ...

The agenda is so transparent - he wants his hero to beat a washed up, inactive for 5 years Ward, so he can claim his hero beat a "close to prime" Ward.

Just like he made the asinine claim last week that Kov was close to prime when Nelo beat him.

This guy will go to any and all lengths to cape for the juicing Ginger.
