This thread was done before a long while back, but I'll do it again. Name off fighters where in your mind, the winner woulda been different if the fighter were prime. And dont give completely obvious examples like Tyson-Williams, or Pryor-Bobby Joe Young. I'll start with some I think:

Lewis-Tyson: I can respect the opinion of some that Lewis beats even a prime Tyson, but I dont see it. The late 80's, or even early 90's Tyson would have got inside of Lewis and knocked him out.

Tszyu-Chavez: Prime Chavez woulda wore Tszyu down and stopped him late.

RJ-Tarver: Prime RJ would have beaten Tarver by very comfortable decision, may have even stopped him.

Tszyu-Hatton: A prime Tszyu woulda tore Hatton up, and stopped him late.

Whitaker-DLH: Sweet Pea of the early 90's would have outboxed Oscar by a wide margin.

Hopkins-Taylor: The B-Hop of 99-01 would have stopped Taylor, instead of letting him steal two BS decisions.

    Others?

    Good choices.

The only one I'm not so certain about is Tszyu-Hatton. I think Hatton gives ZOO hell every day of the week.

    I'll add...

    Marciano-Louis and Ali-Frazier 1

Likewise with the two you listed, especially Ali-Frazier.

If anything I would have said, especially Louis-Marciano. Marciano is a harder fight for a prime Louis than Frazier would be for a prime Ali. A prime Ali ('65-'67) would have toyed with Frazier IMO.

Morales schooled him the first time even though he was already on his way down after so many wars. Morales shouldn't be fighting anymore.

Wlad vs Ross Puritty. Wlad was too inexperienced and punched himself out...If they fought now Wlad stops Ross

What about Trinidad/Whitaker at their welterweight best???...

Chavez/De La Hoya I is definitely up there IMO.

    Joppy/Duran for sure.

Jones/McCallum would have been more competitive for sure if not a different outcome.

A rematch scenario or facing him for the first time scenario? If Wlad sees him for the first time again he gets blown out again. If Wlad rematches him then i guess he stops him mid rounds..maybe

I don't know about this one....RJJ would always have struggled with Tarver, IMHO. Likely would have beaten him in a clearer (albeit still close/competitive) decision, but I think it would always have been an awkward, ugly affair with Tarver's style, height/reach, quickness and straight left threat giving RJJ problems.

    Peace.

I agree with most of your choices!

I would add that Pea really BEAT DLH even though he was not in his prime and got robbed

I think a Prime JCC beats DLH at lightweight
