Mosley/Mayweather got me thinking... I have never wanted either of these guys to lose in any of their previous fights. Always been a big fan of both. I'll probably be pulling for Floyd to win so Mayweather/Pacquiao is still hot when all is said and done, but it will be weird watching a Mosley fight from that perspective for me.

Now I'm trying to come up with some other examples but I can't.

Have any of you guys ever experienced this?

I didn't know you were a Floyd fan Steve.

Actually the only recent one I can think of was indeed Morales/Pacquiao, and I too ended up rooting for Morales.

Gotta love that old time El Terrible.

He's hard to be a "fan" of lately, but I always was as he was coming up. Still, I wanted him to beat Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, Oscar, Hatton and JMM. I'm not really the fan type, not since Lennox Lewis anyway, but when the bell rings for round one I always find myself wanting Floyd is pull it out. I think everyone gets that feeling in their gut during any fight, wanting one of the fighters to win.

I wanted MAB to beat both Morales and Pacquiao so that disqualifies them for me.

This might come as a surprise, but Lennox vs Vitali was that kind of fight to me

Bigdawg vs Bama....I will be cheering both. Hope they kick the shit out of each other.

Hatton vs Tszyu, where I kind of wanted both of them to win.

Robin Reed vs Joe Cal.......I liked both mens work and didn't realise at the time how important Joe was to the White Race.

    Trinidad vs. Hopkins

I ended up rooting for Hopkins

    Marquez vs. Vazquez fights

Hard to root against either guy. Even when they fought each other I just enjoyed the fights for what they were. I'd find myself rooting for whoever was losing momentum and then start rooting for the other guy when it swung the other way.

    Corrales vs. Castillo I

I'll be damned if Diego Corrales wasn't the most likable wife beater in history. Even when I'd badmouth him on the boards for being a piece of shit abuser, I'd still find myself rooting for him when he was in the ring.

Castillo, I began to dislike later on because of his struggles with the scales but up until that point it was always hard for me to root against him to.

I second Nobleart's pick of Vasquez/Marquez. I had no idea who to root for and thoroughly enjoyed all of it.

Tyson/Holyfield 1. I was such a huge fan of both of them, I really was torn.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather would've been one, and maybe it will be.
