Welp, looks like the boxing God's heard our cries. The sport makes a comeback!

Tank in 4-6, but it should be fun while it lasts.

I was hesitant for a few mins, but Stephen Espinoza Tweeted it's a done deal, so yeah, this is really official.

For once, the sport surprised me in a good way. I didn't think there was a hot in Hell.

Ryan’s odds would be much better at 140 IMO. I just don’t trust that chin of his.

With our luck, he'll probably pull an upset.

or a bad cut or broken hand/excuse to push it to the summer..

Any other time I would be happy and laugh my ass off...but I need a big fight build up and weekend. Tank won't shut the fuk up and Ryan iG popularity and pretty boy looks will get the people talking and the network involved in promoting the fight.

Could be bigger than Spence v Crawford...IMO

Garcia can fight. No way davis takes that 1

I was at the fight when he beat up Colbert. He's no tune up. Probably the toughest opponent of Davis career

And why the fuck take a tune up vs a lefty?

I’m actually hoping Ryan pulls this one off off.

Tank’s career has been a disappointment. Ryan for now has some time to get in the ring with at least one of Haney or Shakur.

    We already know Tank won’t.

If the Rolly fight never happened, I'd say Ryan has zero chance. But Rolly's slow ass outboxed Tank for the first 4 rounds, so I think Ryan does a shot at winning, even though I can't pick him.

I figure at some point Ryan will get caught with something big. Something he won’t recover from.

But the strategy will be key here. I think Ryan has to be almost perfect for as long as the fight goes. I have no doubt he’ll bag more rounds but how long can he keep it up without getting dragged into serious exchanges?

Yeah, it's pretty easy to envision Garcia doing well, but then getting too excited offensively at some point and walking into a bomb.

To be fair, the danger isn't one sided. Tank has to be careful of walking into Ryan's check hook.

Tank has never been seriously hurt as far as I know. I'm not his biggest fan but seems to have a solid chin.

Yeah but has he faced anyone with the combination of speed and power that Garcia has? I don’t think so. I feel it’s a very dangerous fight for him.

REED Doesn't Like His EMOTIONS Being Played w/But ASSuming This Fight Comes Off, it'll Be Intriguing for Sure...

Thing Is, Despite Being a Small, Short Armed KO Artist, it's NOT Like Tank Operates in a Tyson/Frazier, Perpetually Aggressive Manner Either...Tank Gets the Majority of His KO's via Well Placed COUNTERS, vs. Imposing His Will On a Guy...

But He'll Be Giving Away Damn Near HALF a Foot in Height and Considerable Reach to Boot, to King Ry...On the Flipside, Despite His Rangy Build and Good Jab, King Ry LIKES to Mix it Up a Bit Also...Problem Is, He Still DOESN'T Move His Head for Shit...

Sooooo Something's GOTTA Give Here...Goosen's Probably THE Most Underrated Trainer in History, So There's No Doubt Garcia's FIGHT PLAN Will Be Top Notch...Jab, Move, Jab-Jab, Move...Jab, Right Hand, Left Hook, Rinse Repeat...The Recipe Itself ISN'T Completed, but Can Garcia EXECUTE???...

And Yes, this Fight Very Well COULD Approach 1mil PPV Buys...Tank's a PROVEN Draw w/Black Boxing Fans and Garcia's IG Following Alone Insures Hundreds of THOUSANDS of Fight Night Views...

Hell, the Day AFTER the Fight was Officially Announced, Stephen A. Smith Had KingRy on "First Take"...Say What You Will About Stephen A., He's as MAINSTREAM as it Gets in Sports Media...

That's true Tank has never faced anyone with Ryan's speed. Powerwise I dare to say Pitbull is just a powerful as Ryan. Ryan hasnt knocked out anyone that is world class. So that's iffy. I do agree the danger goes both ways but the difference is experience(Tank) and Chin.

Ryan should not jab and move IMO. That's a recipe for him losing, and it totally negates his chief advantage.

He needs to impose his size and back Tank up behind his jab. If he can throw Davis' rhythm off with his jab, Davis will start lunging. At which point, Ryan can step back and walk him into his check hook.

That should be the game plan. Jabbing and moving will only get him caught on the end of Davis' power eventually.

Pitbull ISN’T as Powerful as Ryan…Pitbull’s GRITTIER Than Ryan and Probably TOUGHER Than Ryan, But Not More Powerful…

Luke Campbell’s World Class and Got Stopped w/a Bodyshot…

Backing Tank Up Would Obviously Be Advantageous…Problem Is, KingRy Still Leaves His Chin DANGLING In Mid-Air, On a Silver Platter, Unprotected MORE Times Than Not…

Standing in Front of Tank, Defiantly Trying to IMPOSE His Will Gets Garcia Chin Checked Even Soooooner, in REED’s Opinion…

When I see a fight where you have two guys that can punch but one of them has poor defense or a questionable chin and then you see the chinny guy going into a shell and try to box with the better boxer it never goes well. A recipe for disaster. At least if Ryan follows explosive's advise he has a chance. If he tries to jab and play it safe he has no chance. He will just get picked apart by the better boxer(Tank).

I SAY... 9 times out of 10 going out on your shield will pay off. Best case scenario IS Ryan vs Tank is a bad ass, fan friendly action fight where the outcome is ultimately the same (Ryan gets kod) but gains a ton of fans and respect from the boxing community(like Gatti)along the way.
