Account of the incredible events that really, actually occurred between July 16-24 1969. Looks great.
Bio Pic now but if somehow one day it's proven the moon landings were faked...will they have to change this to science fiction???
From my understanding this film a melodrama heavily centered on the loss of Armstrong's 3-year-old daughter to cancer. I never knew that about Armstrong's life, but I think I'll pass on watching it in theatres.
I´d be interested if there was any evidence or even better, statistics of people who didn´t believe the Apollo 11 mission was a success. From 1970 onwards through the decades....
I dig this sort of material. I'll probably check it out if I get the chance. Still love watching "The Right Stuff" every once in awhile.
I didn't know about that either but it's also a reason i won't be interested in seeing it. No, i don't expect something that significant in a man's life to be omitted or diminished to a side story, but this is one of the pinnacles of mankind's achievements. Perhaps that comes off as callous, but I'm more interested in the NASA mission and everything behind it than i am in one man's trials and tribulations.
And no American flag planted in the moon per this movie 'cause Armstrong saluted it instead of taking a knee...
No. I'm so upset about the filmmaker's forgetting to make a big deal about the American flag that I can't bring myself to commit treason by watching it
Turns out a movie about American tenacity, technology, courage and determination in meeting an almost impossible goal against untold odds and at great cost and risk to family and self and country.............................just wasn't Patriotic enough. Who knew?
A little bit ironic that so many of these MAGA cunts, pining for the days of making America great again, are so convinced that good old fashioned America actually faked one of it's most amazing accomplishments.
exactly. And to top it off none of these same imbeciles claim the commies sending the first man into outer space was faked.
I for one don't trust the U.S. federal government whatsoever. The only exception is when they send soldiers to other countries to fight in wars. At that point I support their decision to do so in the first place and whatever the tactics and plan or lack of one is. I do think they should remain there however. Too many come back and whine about all sorts of inconsequential shit and are a drain on the system.
But football players taking a knee at about the same time these cunts are taking a piss break and pulling a beer out of the fridge..........................
Guys, the left are really dangerous and we need a civil war but also simultaneously the left are all weaklings in pajamas drinking lattes ... whichever fits whatever I'm raging about
