There were a couple of brief moments there when Floyd chilled out, dropped the layers of bravado and actually came across like a normal human being. It didn't last though. The chip on that guys shoulder is must have it's own weather system.

Beats me. He must be what like medieval boy Kings were like. You know, 13 year olds who neither have anyone to put them in their place or the self awareness to know how repellent & asinine they're being.

You know the sport of boxing is dying when people actually give a sh*t about Floyd Mayweather. 5-6 years back when Tyson, Lewis, Holyfield, Roy Jones, Trinidad, DLH, Vargas, Mosley were all still competing at the very top level and rocking ppv, NOBODY gave a flying f*ck about Mayweather. Now that all those guys are gone or gotten old, Mayweather is the talk of the town.
There's nobody else other than him and Pacquaio out there for boxing fans to get their rocks off on.

Let me give it a try.

LM: Floyd, *smiling*, you were knocked out in 3 rounds, and completely dominated. The king is dead, long live the new king.

FMJ: He fought his heart out, I fought my heart out, if it would've went 4 rounds, I would've taxed that ass. Lucky shot, happens all the time.

LM: Floyd, did you think this was particular entertaining? It only went 3 rounds, and you were rocked every round until Pacquiao stopped you for the count, and you barely landed a punch.

FMJ: Well you know, you always give me a hard time. You ain't never give me credit. You good at commentating, so stick to commentating. Don't always be a critic, don't be negative, be positive. You always talk, let me do the talking. HBO I love you, the best of the best, filthy rich records is what it is. Larry Merchant is just a commentator he don't know nothing 'bout boxing.

    LM: Thank you Floyd. Jim.

Fair point, but it doesn't really irk me, tbh, REED. Im not sitting here getting tense, or stressed watching him, in fact I sat through the whole thing with a smirk on my face gently shaking my head. There are rare occasional moments when he pisses me off, usually when I'm already pissed off about something else but my overriding emotion is usually closer to pity than annoyance when it comes to Floyd.

I guess I must not be a true sports fan. Cause for thing I don't hate any athlete. I mean how can you hate someone that you don't even know. To be honest I don't care how a person acts or behaves outside of their sport. I only care about their skills in the ring, on the hoop court, gridiron etc. Cats kill me when they allow an athlete to have that much contol over them. That is actually a sign of weakness if you ask me. I'll Holla 5000

I'm glad my posts bother you this much. Why don't you just turn on YOUR bullshit filter and tune me out then? Follow your own advise if you think what I'm postingis bullshit. It xcertainly doesn't bother me that the biggest Floyd nuthugger in the history of any website doesn't think much of my anti-Floyd posts.

    Carry on with the nuthuggery.

    Whatever, Dude...

Try Actually REEDing REED's Posts if U Think he's a Floyd Nuthugger...REED Actually Called the Dude a "Piss Poor Role Model for Young Black Men" & OPENLY Criticized him for WASTING ALL of 2008, but Yeah, REED's a Nuthugger Alright:shit:...

The ONLY Thing about your Posts that even Comes CLOSE to "Bothering" REED is YOUR MIScharacterization of him, as it Pertains to Floyd...YOU NUTHUG Floyd (in Reverse) MUCH WORSE than U Accuse REED of Doing Likewise...

I just don't get FLoyd fans. They are just happy with everything he does. Why do you guys not care that he isn't trying to fight the best guys? Those guys ARE NOT JMM and Pac either. If he was back to prove he is a great fighter, he wouldn't even entertain the idea of fighting a fucking lightweight when he's been a welterweight for YEARS now.

I was fine when Berto was mentioned as the come back fight, I guess he was too "in the same weight class" for Floyd. So he fights JMM and even claims it's not a tune up and JMM is a great fighter? Well sure he is a great fighter, AT 130-135. I'll be damned if that ain't a tune up.

I don't hate Floyd, I hate that his careeer from 140 on has been a complete sham. He's a cherry picker of the worst kind.

Just like U Did in the Case of Floyd-Hatton, U're GLOSSING OVER the Fact that Floyd is in the Process of Making THE BIGGEST, Most MEANINGFUL Fight of 2009, w/Manny Pacquiao...

U're Also GLOSSING OVER the Fact that Floyd DIDN'T Pursue JM Marquez, it was the Other Way Around...As a COMEBACK Opponent, it's HARD to have Issues w/JM Marquez...It Also Helps to BUILD Even More Anticipation for the Potential Floyd-Pac Fight...

Right Now, Pac's Looked BETTER than Floyd Has, Against Dela & Hatton...Now Floyd's Fighting a Guy that even Mainstream Fans Saw Pac STRUGGLE w/.....

The PROBLEM is, U HOLD Floyd to EVERY SINGLE WORD he Says...Just a Couple Weeks Ago, he Said Marquez was "Too Small"...Now he's Calling him a "Great Fighter" (which he is), but YOU have a Problem w/It???...Filter THRU the Bullshit, Dude...& Bear N Mind that ALL Fighters CONTRADICT Themselves & BULLSHIT the Public from Time to Time...Some MORE than Others, Obviously....

It's NOT that Floyd Fans "Accept" whatever he Does, we just DON'T Allow Ourselves to LATCH ONTO or Get Bent OUT of Shape about EVERYTHING he Says...Floyd MANIPULATES his HATERS Much More than he Affects his Fans...

One question, why did Floyd start accepting challenges from guys only when it came to JMM. How come he didn't fight one of many other guys who have called him out? Margarito called him out forever.

I'll admit I go a bit overboard in my "hate" for Floyd. Why? One thing I cannot stand in boxing is squandered talent and that is the road Floyd is headed down. I'm being completely selfish here and demanding he give us the fights we want to see. I'm a fan of boxing more so than a fan of specific fighters. Although I'd be lying if I said I didn't have favorites.

Nothing personal REED, not at all.

Yeah thats the same excuses that you and him used back when he was fighting DLH/Hatton/Bumdomir/Judah/Mitchell...and not Cotto/Mosley/Margarito/Clottey/Williams,etc..etc..

don't blame him for fighting DELAHOYA$$$$...or even Hatton...but then not fighting Cotto/Mar/Mosley and the others...chicken shit move imo...
