How is this different from all the other official threads we have had and are going to get?

Hatton W12. Floyd can't stop him from coming, Hatton is quick enough with his punches to get them in, hits harder and bullies Floyd around. 116-112 Ricky Hitman Hatton

    Shut it.
Mine says 'Official' in it's title, that's why.

I see Mayweather stopping Hatton's charge for about 3-4 rounds but that's it.
And when that point arrives, I can't wait to see how Mayweather's shoulder-roll and counter off the ropes fares when faced with Hatton's relentless attack.

It all really depends on who Kauki picks.
If Kauki picks Hatton, then it's a decisive victory for Floyd. Hatton will get humiliated, beat down and will most likely quit.
If, on the other hand, Kauki picks the current best fighter in the world to win, Floyd will still win, but, since he's going to be fighting against BOTH Hatton and Kauki's curse, it will be a much closer and hotly-contested affair.
In any case, Floyd will become Zoo's grand-daddy after it's all said and done.
One thing that's definetely NOT going to happen is Floyd's quitting on his stool. His warrior mentality will not allow for that, no matter what....

Yet Hatton might quit on his stool? :dunno:

Also, where did you get the impression that Mayweather has a 'warrior-mentality'? Maybe I missed those fights. :dunno:

I'm not saying that at all. All I'm saying is you will NOT see Floyd "pulling a Zoo".

Perhaps, you did.....Remember the time when Floyd took on MUCH bigger man in ODLH?..in fact, it just happened this year.....For example, Ricky Hatton or Kostya Zoo NEVER had the balls to step up to ODLH's level, despite the fact they're naturally bigger and stronger than Floyd.....
Sure, he coulda done what Zoo did throughout his career, and fight in a barren and desolate division, without even trying to make ODLH fight happen.....but Zoo is a wuss, and Floyd is a warrior....you see the point now?

Maybe he meant that Mayweather will quit on Hatton's stool

1 - Zoo only 'pulled a Zoo' when he ran into Hatton. Before that, he was a 'warrior', too.

2 - I think Mayweather probably thought he could pull a 'Mosley' and outpoint a slow, shit-old Fajita for zillions of dollars?
Mosley went from 135, to a couple of tune-ups and then faced a PRIME De la Hoya at 147.
Yet no-one back then went, "Mosley - Warrior!!!"
Or did they? Maybe I missed that, too.

No, he wasn't.....What made him a warrior before that? Surely, not his choice of opponents, because his resume is garbage

I don't care what Mayweather "thought". I don't know what he thought.
    Neither do you.
I know what he did though. So do you.
He fought ODLH. Something that neither Hatton nor Zoo never had balls to event attempt, let alone win.

1 - Tzsyu was touted as Top3, P4P back when he crushed prime Judah and Mitchell. Almost no-one gave Hatton a chance on this very forum when they fought.
And then when he made him quit, everyone on here does what they usually do: back-track, make excuse and look for loopholes.

2 - So, a fighter is now known for having the balls to fight (well, the word 'fight' can be used very loosely in that case) a shot De la Hoya, now?
    That's almost funny.

Floyd would never have beaten a young DLH. He doesn't have the style nor the power. Even an old DLH with bad stamina, no legs and no jab still commanded much of the action when they fought.

No, no, no - you don't understand Hanzy: pot-shotting a slow, shot fighter is 'Warrior-Induction' stuff....

    Shame on you. :nono:

Floyd is a joke! He's not a warrior at all. Watch all the Floyd fanatics jump off his wagon as soon as he gets murdered, calling him nothing more than an overrated bum-beater.

Do you guys really think Floyd would've beaten a 1997-2000 Oscar De La Hoya in any weight class? Seriously! Based on what you saw in their fight back in March when Oscar lost most of his bounce, reflexes and was seriously inactive.

I'll take Collazo's performances against Hatton and Mosley over De la Hoya's poor attempt against Mayweather.

De la Hoya has lost a lot of in the way of footwork - all he did against Mayweather was drag that right leg behind him and approach warily.

Oh, we're playing this "woulda" game again? Sure, I'll play along....
Yes, PBF would've beaten ODLH in any weight class in any year.....
    And your point was....?

I agree with this one: look at the trouble De la Hoya had a with an aging Whittaker in 1997 at 147.
Admittedly, Pea was a southpaw but the evasiveness outweighed ODLH's handspeed.

P4P is stupid. It's been pointed out numerous times on this forum. But, if you want to play P4P games, we can play it..... Here goes....
Tszyu was not in any top-3 P4P, he hardly broke top-100...
How do you like them apples?
Now, can you define to me when exactly Judah's prime was? Who did he defeat during this "prime"? Because every time I've seen Judah fight, he's been getting his ass beaten down...
The same question applies to the "prime" Sharmba Mitchell.....Was his "prime" back 10 years before Zoo fight, when he got brutalized by light-punching Leavander Johnson (RIP) at 135 lb?....
Or was his prime just before that, when powder-puff punching Stevie Johnston with 11(!) fights under his belt KTFO Sharmba (at 135, again), for whom it was 35-th fight?
I mean, seriously, when a fighter's BEST career wins come over non-entity like Mitchell (and the fighter in question needs two tries to get one convincing win ), then ranking him anywhere in top-10 P4P is ridiculous, at the very least.

Well, if it's so funny, why Kostya Zoo never fought ANY version of ODLH, shot or otherwise?
This great warrior, with victories over such monsters as Sharmba Mitchell and Zab Judah....never fought ODLH......never fought anyone remotely close to ODLH.....and yet, here's lil' Floyd, somehow beating Mitchell.....beating Judah......and beating ODLH....unlike the great warrior that is Kostya....
