I'm pretty sure it's been done before but let's do it again.

    Who wins and why?

    12 Rounds.

I'll take Floyd by decision. Both have amazing defense, but Floyd is the more dedicated fighter, and more versatile/dangerous offensively.

    Benitez, in both instances.

They would have been boxing classics between two masters at all phases of the sport.

Great infighting here and some classical fencing as well.

Benitez was just stronger and more energetic in his offense, but had a tendency to get lazy in there, but I think he pushes it more and takes a hard fought decision.

    Two great athletes.

God only knows how good Benitez would have been if had the work ethic in the gym that Floyd has. Could have been remembered as the greatest Rican of all time.

On pure talent alone, I'd say Benitez on his game beats Floyd.

I like Floyds chances more at 140... It's a sweet fight there for sure, could go either way

At 147 I would favor Wilfred ... Stronger

Depends really. Benitez at his best would probably beat Floyd, but he was lazy/unpredictable.

I agree with Xplosive, if he did have a Floyd esque work ethic, Benitez could have been the greatest Rican boxer ever.

I can see Floyd edging out a very low output, low excitement fight, but it could go either way.
