According to www.pwinsider.com Floyd Mayweather has been offered 10 million dollars by the WWE for a feud with John Cena, that could push back his rematches with Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton. Apparently WWE was very impressed by his natural heel persona and athletic ability. This will be great, two phony wannabe rappers going at it in a fake wrestling match. I hate Cena, I loved it when Rock buried him at the HOF.

    doubt it...

Mayweather is going to give up 20-25 million for 10 million? :dunno: and DLH isn't going to wait for Mayweather.....he will find another opponent..for his final fight...

I liked the way he handled the match with bigshow,he, to my surprise took some bumps and sold them well.I think he's tired of boxing and it seems he's actually serious this time when he said he wanted a break.

i was looking forward to 24/7 for the rematch since the family feud will bring more substance this time around.

be that as it may, i dont give a shit about the actual fight itself, so i'd be kinda glad if the rematch falls through.

i'd rather see oscar fight zab (IF he wins vs. mosley) in september.

24/7 would be awesome this time. Floyd Sr and Roger beefing over who is the best trainer. Floyd Jr and Floyd Sr beefing. There really would be no need for Oscar to be part of the show.

Amazing we're at the point where a pro wrestling offer could cause a delay to the Mayweather re-runs.

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest from the boxing community for either except from the fighters and network involved in both fights. Maybe the British want to see it again...with a referee of their fighter's choice.

It would be an interesting turn of events if Mayweather actually makes DLH adjust his plans (of May/September/December fights and then retirement).

Can't imagine DLH would walk away without that getting tht payday, or take a fight in the interim that could jeopardize it.

I read somewhere it was part of the storyline and that he really only got $2-5 million.

In that case, he's being offered more now.

well the training regimen for a worked wrestling match is less arduous than it is training for a 12 round fight. plus, there's less pressure and not much of pride involved.

as floyd himself would put it, it's 'easy work' and easy money.

Ok, let's get this out in the open.

    Are you convinced it's real?

Yes, they are real athletes; yes, they train arduously because pulling it off well involves alot of athleticism, coordination and training....and yes, they do get legitimately hurt and there is risk.

But what they do in the sport itself is staged and not real.

Do you agree with that? Is that the gist of your beef - that the hurt they take and the athleticism it requires isn't acknowledged?

    Just curious.

    Peace.

But BTG, they are not really punching each other and hitting each other with chairs. They are missing, and making stomping noises with their feet, so children and the mentally disabled think they really are landing the blows.

And every wrestling match has a pre-determined outcome, it's all scripted.

Please tell me you're taking the piss and you don't really believe otherwise.

Dear Reed, answering this is optional, but I must ask since you know the "real" Fraud Mayweather better than I do, :nono: can you tell me why Fraud endorses Barrack Obama, a democratic candidate, when Fraud is really a greedy capitalist republican scumbag by nature, and his wealth would be safer retained under a republican rule?...

REED's NEVER Claimed to "Know" the "Real" Floyd Mayweather...REED only Gave a 1 on 1 Account w/the Man that DIFFERS from his Public, "Money May" Perception...

U'd have to Ask Floyd, or Someone that Actually GIVES a Shit about Politics, why he Endorses Obama...
