I like Guerrero, but his style plays into Floyd's hands

Either that or Jake is so shot he posted then scrubbed his name from the article.

Yeah, it does, I was trying to think what it reminded me of. It has that overly obvious, bullshit, satire feel to it.

I hope it is....IF not Mayweather can fucking DIE...

Those picking Guerrero are doing so by UD...those picking Mayweather are saying shit like close decision or MD....

anyway the article smells of SHIT.....Joell Casamayor saying that "Guerrero is as good as anyone and deserve a shot" THAT is not something Casamayor would say....

then the IGOR guy right after him..."ONE night one SHOT...but the Guerrero by Decision..":scared2::bs:

I could see the fight happening down the road if guerrero went on to beat maidana and maybe another decent 140 or 147lber. either way it would be real boring and worthless

Yeah I agree, it's definitely bollocks.

Either the site has been hacked, or the boxing scene writers are pulling a, um, November falls joke

Actually Guerrero has pretty good pop, when he got recognized he was on a ten KO win streak.
He can hit pretty good, has fast hands, good defense when he feels like it, and a southpaw...
He would give Mayweather some problems, but Jesus he wouldn't win.

It's just a press release, generated by someone trying to push for the fight to happen.

    THANK YOU Double!

Guerrero is THE most overrated fighter in the sport right now.

Maidana would have stopped him in August. I maintain that.

Bradley, and Khan would beat the shit outta Guerrero. Rios would stop Guerrero late IMO.

So how the FUCK is he gonna beat Floyd?

Guerrero was on NOBODY'S radar. Then he shuts out CRAPsidis, and suddenly he's one of the best fighters in the world?

Hell, lets see Guerrero fight fuckin Ricky Burns! Burns clearly outboxed Crapsidis also.

When you say "someone", is it someone from Boxingscene or an outside party? So boxingscene publish that press release for free? I would charge them.

No if it were a Boxingscene staff member, it would have the writer's byline. It's a press release from someone tied to Guerrero's camp, but not his personal publicist. It's on other websites as well - we're usually just the first to post everything (not bragging, just stating fact).

It's not uncommon for press releases to get posted on most boxing websites. Advertising/banners is another story altogether - that comes at a considerable price.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that the owner (Rick Reeno) sleeps even less than I do. I swear, sometimes he posts my stuff before I even hit 'send.'

If you look at the names on the Press Release, It's either from Golden Boy or somebody sent it in as a prank.
