word. And Shane's knows this. I don't see him flashing that big smile of his when Vernon's name is mentioned. He's scared to DEATH of the Viper's right hand! Dreams about that shit at night...
Vernon beats the hell out of him again. Unless it becomes a clinchfest like their second fight which is one of the worst tittle fights i've ever seen.
May not "beat the hell out of him" (especially now), but I do see Vernon winning again, especially since it'd be at 154. Peace.
I am counting it. Because its the same outcome everytime. And the Amateur fight was a very focused part of the first fight. It went so far as HBO asking people to send in tape if they have it. You spelled "amateur" wrong
Damn can Shane whip Cotto's ass first before we start putting him the ring with other fighters. I'll Holla 5000
Just when REED STARTED to Think Sugar Shane could BEAT Forrest, Vernon Looked VERY GOOD vs Baldomir... It's DOUBTFUL that Shane could EVER Beat Vernon Forrest, in REED's Opinion...Shane SHITS on Vernon HISTORICALLY, but he just CAN'T Beat that Cat Head to Head... REED
Yup. Exactly! I think their first fight was somewhat of a fluke. I dont think Forrest could ever DOMINATE Shane like that again. He might win, but it'd be a closer fight, and very ugly, and boring. I wouldnt wanna see it. Forrest-Mayorga III is a more appealing fight, provided Mayorga beats the shell of Vargas.
Well since Shane IS going to beat Cotto, you may as well let them have their fun. However the bigger question will be if Shane can beat Floyd because once those 2 win these upcoming fights that's the most logical matchup to be made. That is if Floyd doesn't start making his usual assortment of excuses.
In 1942, Holman Williams lost three straight fights to Charley Burley, including one by knockout, and then won their fourth fight of that year.
