If anyone even cares enough to give one.:: I like Forrest by decision. Even though Vern is a shadow of his prime self, he should still posses enough skill to beat this sloth. But I'll be rooting HEAVILY for Baldomir, just cause I hate Forrest with a passion, esp since that wrapped up GIFT of a decision he got over Ike.
I like Baldomir in that one. Can't help but root for the useless argentinian bum. If anything, he's got grid.

i was at the fight and thought some rounds were close. i had quartey winning, but none of his punches really landed clean.
agreed. and as always, the majority of quartey's landed punches were jabs. he's always going to lose favor with the judges because of that. a jab doesn't count as much as a power punch.
I think they main witness with Forrest is that he doesn't deal well with preassure, and Baldo if anything willb ring plenty of that. He's smallish though and I could see him getting caught and stopped.
Forrest by decision in a dreadfull fight. I don't think Forrest will start crying like a woman afterwards, though.
This fight won't be as bad as everyone thinks. The styles actually matchup decently IMO. Vernon is a straight puncher with good defense and ok power in his overhand right. Beings Carlos seemed to miss geometry growing up he has no clue what angles are so he will do as normal and come plodding forward and bang away. Carlos has a good chin with bad defense and he's slow. He will constantly keep coming because that's just how he fights and he will eat allot of leather in this fight. I can see Vernon winning this by tko with a ref stoppage in about 8. This fight is actually a great choice for Vernon.
