Forrest vs. Wright

During Forrest's fight with Baldomir, Steward said he thought Forrest would beat Wright. Was he correct?

 

Wright would have beaten Forrest very clearly.

Bigger fighter, better fighter, and a bad style for Forrest.

Wright 9-3.

 

Forrest was plenty big for 154. Size would not have been a factor.

 

Yeah. Most of the weight divisions are superfluous .

I’d go with Wright.

The key to beating Winky is to punch with him. If not, you’ll just hit his arms all night. Forrest wasn’t that type of fighter, to my eyes.

I hate Winky’s style but he beats Forrest.

 

Even if we concede size, Wright was much physically stronger, there's no debate on that one.

I don't see how Forrest wins. From the outside Wright would get the better of him with his jab, negating Forrest's own jab with his southpaw stance and defense. And in close, it's no contest. Forrest couldn't infight, while Wright was very good at it.

I think Winky would just beat him up for the most part.

The only rounds Forrest would win are the rounds Wright coasts.
