Froch v Kessler- Official Predictions

Okay, so this one is up on Saturday. Will Froch be the first visiting fighter to win in the Super Six, or will Kessler get back to his best?

Kessler. He's going to surprise a lot of people with how easily he handles Froch. It will be clear after this fight that it was Ward's hand-speed above all that troubled Kessler.

 

Away win for Froch, KO 11.

Kessler should win though.

BTW - when Froch loses this fight they'll be no one in the world laughin harder then ole Sloppy Joe. As much shit as Froch talks about Calz, its gonna be pretty embarassing for him when he gets his ass kicked by Joe's son.

Frock TKO 11.

He'll start to lay a beating on Kessler late, behind on the cards, when Kessler starts to crumble mentally and Frock is still game and strong.

I'm slightly more hesitant about my pick seeing as Frock has a very disruptive week leading up to the fight, with the whole volcano business, but fuck it, I'm sticking to my prediction.

I always wondered what Froch saw in him. I mean, if nothing else, Froch has a bit of "go" about him, maybe Froch is actually bleeding Hennessy, and not the other way around.

By the way Slice, is this fight not even being shown live in England? Is the only way to see it live, through a stupid Danish feed?

 

I believe it's on Primetime dude, same as the Dirrell fight. If you watch on a feed however it should be UK-based and pretty decent

I see Froch turning this into a war at some point and his grit and guts seeing him score a late stoppage.

Ah,.. after watching Froch - Dirrell,.. I'm gunna have to change me mind,.. Kessler UD,..

 

Why?

 

It seemed that without the bitching,.. Dirrell nailed him at will,.. without the sprinting,.. the flopping, the crying, and the hugging,..panicking without any real good reason,.. Froch was rendered useless in an actual boxing match from range,.. Kessler has never been a cuddley kind of guy,..and he'll render this fight a boxing match at his comfortable range, he'll stay in the pocket and nail Froch with ease,.. and thus,.. Froch shouldn't win this. I like to hear Froch do houses up in derby and sussex as much as anyone, but he really is quite a useless scrub in the ring,..my position hasn't changed on him since his days as a prospect.

 

Froch isnt a scrub.... but Kessler will make him look like one.

 

No Froch isn't a scrub, but he is pretty skillless. And when all you have is toughness, strength, and determination and the guy you're going up against has the same, then IMO skills will be the difference here and as such I'm picking Kessler.

Pretty much. People are looking too much into Froch's will winning it out. More times then not in the words of PBF "skills pays the bills". Kessler's straight punching will find the mark before Froch's wide shots. And lets not also forget that Kessler has a good right uppercut which he'll catch Froch coming in with as well.

I actually expect Froch to be competitve early, as Kessler starts slowing. But once Kessler finds his timing, which he will cause Froch is an easy target.... the differance in skill will become more and more brutally apparent.

 

He's like an albino dairy cow with a big pink udder,.. and that's about it,.. a tough white scrub with a courageous pair of jewells,... and if you look at sustaining world champions of the past and present,.. that will not pay off in the end Halle,.. he's flawed as fuck, with a half hour time limit, and a style like his is damaging to his skull, he's going to burn out very fast, and this fight will mark the beginning of his end, Kessler was exposed as being too one dimensional and unadaptable, from son to son, this knowledge will be passed on.

Oh I agree, when Dirrell wasn't sprinting, flopping, crying, hugging and panicking - he was nailing Frock clean, no problem. Fortunately for Frock, Dirrell ran and flopped for most of the fight.

Still, Frock won the fight through sheer determination and Kessler fights nothing like Dirrell anyway. He's not as fast and he's not as accurate.

Regarding the bolded part, I agree he certainly LOOKS like a useless scrub for the most part, it's why I used to be such a Frock hater.

I like him now though, and why I no longer consider him a useless scrub is results. He's beaten Pascal, Taylor and Dirrell in a row. Two of them were undefeated.

Over top opposition, Frock has better results than Kessler, that's exactly why I'm picking him to win the fight.

i used to think froch was a knob, but since he's become champ, he has settled down and is outright hilarious.
