By Ted Sares: I hate it when two of my favorites fight each other and that’s just what’s going to happen later this summer when fading Arturo Gatti meets up-and-coming Alfonso Gomez. My heart says “Gattiâ€￾ but my brain is telling me something else. Let’s take a closer look.

when has Marquez been a fighter who drank blood and spit out nails.

Gatti, as faded as he is, will bitchslap Gomez.

Guys from the contender, simply suck.

It should be a pretty good war until Gatti cracks Gomez and finishes him off, probably midway in the fight if it's a 10 rounder

I'm almost thinking it should be 8 rounds. Gatti's so shot that he should fight 2-minute rounds, like a woman.

I'm pretty sure Gomez will retire Gatti. I don't think Gomez is any good, but Gatti is so shot he shouldn't even be fighting.

Gatti is almost on E, but he still has enough for Gomez. This is the perfect match up for Gatti; a smaller guy that will not be hard to find with little power. It will be an exciting fight!!!:slap:

Gomez is actually slightly bigger than Gatti.

That really depends on what the weight limit is. If it's 150 or under, Gatti will be bigger.

Since it's a thread about Gatti, let me make it interesting.

There was a private investigation on Gatti's death. We all know the situation sounded shady from the start, with the arrest of his wife and then her later being released and "cleared".

what they found was the Arturo Gatti absolutely could not have killed himself. That is the only thing that has been released from the investigation so far. There is a press conference scheduled for the end of this month to officially release the full report. It sounds to me like the bitch really killed him and was covered up by the police in brazil. She is from Brazil.

Only Petre would be qualified to investigate this.
