Good fight. If McClellan tags him Ward is going down for sure. But I don't think Ward lets him have the range he'd need to get off. Ward UD with a couple scares along the way.

Ward is a bad matchup for the dog killer.

As long as Ward can tolerate a hitter like this, he should win, he has the style to do so. That's a hard thing, though, even when guys like this aren't landing cleanly, the effect of their power can still be considerable mentally. Ward hasn't been in with a true bomber. McClellan was and in memory remains an obscenely overrated fighter, but he was a legit banger of the first order. Guys can get spooked by shots to the elbows from a guy like that and go into a shell. I don't think that would happen with Ward, though, and I think the longer it goes the better he does and the easier it becomes for him. Barring a complete shock at the raw power of his opponent, Ward should be able to cruise down the stretch to a very clear decision win.

If Ward tires and tries to run like he did circa round 9 against Froch, he gets tagged and gets sparked. Otherwise, he wins a UD.
