I actually like Wilder here. Golota of course is much more refined as far as technique and skill goes, but the moment Wilder starts to fight back, he’ll blow it.
Yeah, you won't find me showing any 90s favoritism in this one. Wilder, Fury, and AJ all beat Golota. All three have shown mental toughness, which is really just about all it takes to beat that nutcase. Golota would shit himself the first right hand that Wilder lands. But honestly, Wilder's intense personality and trash talk would have Golota intimidated before the opening bell. I think Wilder ends it inside of 6. You can add Ortiz to the list of current guys who would beat Golota.
Golota was too straight up and stiff to avoid Wilder's right hand... he wasnt an awkward, elusive target like Fury. He was easy to find. And if Wilder can find you, you better have a great chin, and Golota didnt. Wilder bombs out Golota before Golota quits.
