Prime Mosley would have whipped that ass. BADLY....

Mosley arguably deserved a draw tonight.

I dont think Prime Mosely would have whupped him. It would have been just as grueling a fight as it was tonight. Cotto has always had the ability to step it up a gear.

Exactly and even Cotto himself said he didn't want to KO Shane and took his foot off the gas a bit didn't he?

Lol.. Nothing against Miguel, in truth. I would pick him to beat the likes of Margarito, De La Hoya, Cintron, and Ricky Hatton.

Cotto fought a good fight tonight. He too held up under a big storm in the championship rounds and actually showed some boxing skill in getting out of trouble.

Mosley was underestimated BIG TIME by Cotto, though. I think he really expected to walk through Shane tonight.

You are wrong. If Cotto underestimated Mosely in any way, Cotto would have been Knocked the fuck out.

Actually Cotto said that He couldnt KO A Shane. You didnt see the fight correct? Cotto said that when he realized he wasnt going to KO shane, he decided to go for the easy win.

I think I just realized where your Mosley dislike comes from.

You don't want him to surpass RJJ right? That's why you were hoping and praying he wouldn't beat Cotto and make it a closer argument. And then maybe beating your boy Floyd and sealing the argument by becoming greater than both.

Well anyway enjoy this win. As much as it should pain me it really doesn't. I was hoping Shane could put a big stamp on his career with this victory but I'm not all that upset with a close loss at this point in his career. Hope he retires now.

Why would you want Shane to retire? He could probably Ricky Hatton. and this fight was so close that he might beat Miguel in a Rematch. I say Shane should fight the loser of Hatton vs. Mayweather. Shane is still the goods. He just fought one of the top guys in the division and ALmost beat him.

Even if Shane won tonight that doesn't put him above Roy Jones. Hey i like Shane Mosley and i like Cotto more.

Anyways for a guy that hasn't seen the fight ill say this. You will be surprised how Cotto deals with Shanes speed.

I don't even see what this has to do with Roy Jones or Floyd Mayweather.

    NO DOUBT...

Tonight, Shane BLEW the EARLY Rounds, but he Virtually DOMINATED the Last 3-4 Rounds...Not Sure WHAT Fight Lederman Watched, Giving Cotto the last 2 Rounds...

But Having Said that, AT BEST, Shane Deserved A DRAW...He DIDN'T Beat Cotto...

But Like U Said, a PRIME Sugar Shane woulda BEAT Cotto CONVINCINGLY...

Cotto clearly won the 11th. Neither guy did much in the 12th.

I don't agree. I think Mosley has the experience now that helped him alot. The Shane on 2000 was just faster but more reckless in my opinion.

cotto isn't the wear-you-down type fighter he's made out to be....shane looked weaker and tired in the first half of the fight yet cotto was back peddling late in the fight

The only fighter that could have ever stopped Mosley is Tito. I don't think anyone else could have done it in Shane's era.

Because he lost GF, he lost. He fucking blew it, and I'm pissed, sort of. He was supposed to return the ww belt full circle by beating Cotto and then Mayweather and he blew it.

Now I get to listen to "Mosley can't deal with the jab and beat 1 eliter fighter" for the rest of my days.

The Forrest who fought Shane in the first fight could have done it.
