No doubt that Holmes is an all-time great heavyweight and Page is the poster boy of underachiever heavies...but there was a time when Holmes dropped his WBC title to avoid facing the #1 rated Page. Could Page have pulled off the upset? Bear in mind that this isn't the 1978 Holmes who fought the classic with Norton but rather the one who had his hands full with Bonecrusher Smith and Carl Williams.
Holmes himself did't like the diea of this matchup but I am willing to believe that if it had happened, Holmes would have been able to dig down and find the way to win. He gave his worst performances when he wasn't intrested, such as against Williams
