Haney vs Prograis looks done for October 28th

I’ve seen a couple of news sources on social media reporting it. I’m assuming Haney will now be stripped and Shakur and Loma will face off for the WBC belt.

 

Heart wants Regis to give Haney a career ending beating.

Head says Haney will outbox Regis.

Overall though, 2023 continues to be an excellent year of quality fights actually getting made.

Who you picking between Haney & Reg? Assuming it actually comes off (nothing is signed yet).

 

Haney could stink it out and win a boring decision. Not interested in the fight at all, or any fight involving Haney for that matter

 

I'm interested because there's at least the potential Regis could roll back the clock and stop him. Haney ain't exactly Wilfred Benitez when it comes to defensive ability, so Reg does have a shot.

 

I figured Haney didn’t want to risk losing to Shakur or Loma. Regis is a good opponent for Haney @ 140. I didn’t think Regis looked impressive in his last fight and age is slowly catching up to him, he could be ripe for the picking for Haney at this point much like Taylor was for Teo. If Haney beats Regis we definitely need to see Haney vs Teo next.
