I see the blame game is in full effect. I have to agree with Schauffer that people need to stop complaining about Golden Boy and promote their fighters and make things happen. Golden Boy has got dates with the Nokia Theatre in LA and the Barclays arena in NYC while the other promoters just complain and do nothing to promote. The we won't pump money in to a fighter because G will steal them is weak. Do a good job promoting them and they will stay with you. The article mentioned that Berto and Angulo have had more dates than anybody else over the past 3 years and both guys have had mismatch after mismatch, neither guy is with Golden Boy. It's ironic that all the promoters are quoted complaining that HBO have been buying mismatches, when they have all promoted mismatches off of HBO's license fees over the years.

Seriously. And to top it off, Angulo has a loss to a guy most people don't think is very good. I don't advocate dismissing a fighter because he lost a fight, but at the same time, he should have to get back in line. Instead, Angulo continues to gets date and since his loss to Cintron, has gone backwards in terms of competition. It's hard to fathom. And Berto? I don't understand that whole shit either. The guy sucks.
I am going to click on the links now, but before I do, I have it down that Hauser has....a lot to say about the Heavies and fuck all about Welter and Super 6. Let's see how wrong I am.
This part is bullshit, as evidenced by the conditions of making Bradley-Alexander. Regardless of the outcome (winner, loser, excitement, boredom) a $3 million package awaits their next respective fights, as well as the promise of a rematch. My earlier post was to reflect the repetitive nature of Hauser on this subject, but that part certainly falls in line with Steve Kim's quip of Ross' annual Groundhog's Day speech, promising the same shit every year, but never ever delivering.
