Quartey's jab isn't enough to beat Hearns, who had an even longer jab and quite frankly a better one. Hearns shuts down Quartey.
Hearns would iron Quartey out. Quartey in Hearns' era would be fighting Hagler though, and that'd be real painful.
I don’t think Quartey has the attributes to win. He’s short and stocky, fights behind his jab, and isn’t a particularly dangerous inside fighter or body puncher. I think Hearns bombs him out in 7 rounds.
