I think Camacho might be too clever for Khan right now and finds a way to win.

Need to see a bit more of Khan.

The Camacho that beat Howard Davis would clearly outbox Conman. Faster, better technician, and Khan is dumber than a lamp post.

Khan is probably the dumbest world class fighter in the history of the sport. I bet he doesn't know enough to wash his smelly cock properly.

Ive seen nothing from Khan that makes me think he's all that good... Camacho lost to really good fighters, he ain't losing to Con

I'm not impressed with Khan either. He has a nice jab, fast hands, and athleticism. He also has poor footwork, no inside game, poor defense, gets sloppy, shaky punch resistance, etc...

Camacho beats him handily. 140 is a better matchup, since Camacho was declining and Khan's probably more comfortable there.

140 is the only way its fair.

Camacho at his pre-Rosario best knocks Con's ass out at 135.

But I referenced the Howard Davis fight because Con is NO faster than Davis, and Camacho made Davis look slow.

So you don't agree with the ESB posters who say Khan has a good argument as being the fastest fighter ever? :giggle:

I would say that its the dumbest quote Ive ever heard, but I dunno... there have been some GEMS on Eastside!

One poster stated that Haye would stop a prime Tyson within 5.

You don't think Khan is as good as a post-LW version of Greg Haugen? I do... well, maybe I don't, but we need something to debate, so yeah, I do.

Didnt' someone here say the same as well?

I don't remember who, other than it was a poster whom I otherwise highly respect. But remember reading it, and I really don't actively post anywhere else. Occasionally on B-Scene and Maxboxing, but by far most often on here, so this is where I had to have read it. Def. wasn't on ESB since I never post there.

    That fight was in 91.

Had they fought a few years earlier when Camacho maintained all his speed... Hector would have beat Haugen with room to spare.

When Camacho beat Davis in 87 at 140, he still had his other-worldly speed.

Oh I know. Wasn't disputing that, just cdogg's contention that Camacho only lost to fighters no worse than very good. It's actually true... but that IMO, Khan right now is as good as Haugen was at that time, though for different reasons.

I'd pick Camacho in this matchup, anyway. Just saying that Khan's better than being given credit.

Camacho wide. Anybody who can match Khan's foot speed and get inside consistently will give Khan all he can handle. If the other guy's significantly faster on your feet than Khan, the fight's pure pythagorus' hypotenuse triangled oot it's nut, mon. Up the social, burn the discotheque .

I said almost that, even though it doesn't seem to fit the rest of your hint

I didn't say Khan is the fastest ever but in my opinion he is at the same level as Camacho and Taylor, to me it is impossible to really separate them. I'd say Camacho had the faster combos but Khan could match him with single shots. Bit same as David Haye: he is not particularly fast overall, but the speed of his right hand is in the league of Tyson.

Oh, and I pick Camacho here as he is the much more versatile fighter
