Probably going the distance 10 out of 10 times unless of an injury.

Is the fight interesting or entertaining at all? Who wins and why?

    Split decision/draw type of fight

Camacho's speed and negativity vs. McGirt's crisper punching

Camacho's quickness and negative style give the counterpunching McGirt few opportunities... McGirt's skill and intelligence prevents Camacho from being able to control the fight on his speed alone... they cancel each other out... this results in a bout with lots of hard-to-score rounds, little in the way of landed punches and a divided opinion on the winner

The Camacho of the Howard Davis fight would beat McGirt by a commanding margin

Camacho beat one good, prime fighter (Jose Luis Ramirez) by a commanding margin in his whole career and that was at lightweight and it was a style matchup made in heaven for him

Buddy McGirt was a better junior welter than Camacho, it isn't even debatable

You overrate him so much because he had handspeed, basically

Camacho shut out Davis BEFORE Davis went out to give a young Mel Taylor a very tough fight. It was pretty impressive.

You're the one who overrates McGirt.

I don't overrate Camacho at all. It's not as if I'm saying he could beat Floyd, Pryor, Chavez, ect. Not saying he'd beat your hero Pea either.

I think the 80's version of Camacho would beat McGirt's big head ass by an 8-4, or 9-3 margin. I don't think that's overrating him at all.

Buddy didn't have the power to put real hurt on Hector, and I don't think he'd handle Camacho's speed well at all. He'd be a step or two behind all night.

BTW, you're underrating Camacho if you act like ALL he had was handspeed. He wasn't fuckin Khan for Christ sake!

Camacho had excellent skills, good stamina, and enough pop that guys didn't walk through him (except Chavez)

Bullshit... you ARE overrating him... He couldn't even beat Greg Haugen cleanly at this weight and you are picking him to easily beat McGirt? Fuck that bullshit... This is a close, difficult to score fight

You have picked him to beat Whitaker in the past, which is fucking laughable

Not only is your McGirt homer-ism getting out of hand, but your lack of loyalty to your Puerto Rican homie up in heaven is shameful.

What in the Holy FUCK are you talking about? I've never picked Camacho to beat Whitaker a DAY in my life! I dare you to find where I said that can I assure you I NEVER have! Whitaker would've kicked Camacho's ass, and I've NEVER said differently.

I liked Camacho, as he was a funny guy and a character, but I dont think he was very good. I'd say he was aonly slightly above a Khan level type of fighter (with a better chin, but way less power). I'd pick Mcgirt over him
