Liddell got caught with a right hand over the top in 3 fights now. Each time, his left hand was down and did his usual eyes-closed hail mary and ended up getting caught. Happened to him against Jackson, Jardine, and now Evans. Only except Jardine dropped him but didn't KO him. Liddell needs to hire a real boxing coach.
if Liddell can be a champ in mma, me and Hanzy should start training seriously. Steve_dave would literally behead Liddell if they fought.
Bottom line, Chucks stand-up doesn't cut it in the sport anymore. Aside from the fact that he is getting old. Stand up is becoming a bigger part of the game and camps are putting more emphasis into it. Uppercuts from 3 ft out are going to get exploited.
That fight really humilated the sport. The whole card was shit. Neither one of those guys have world class talent today. Seriously, most women in cardio kickboxing wouldn't have tried that uppercut from half a mile away.

Truth. Chuck has always been an incredibly bad stand-up fighter. Chuck beating everyone was my main reason for considering this sport a joke for so long. Seriously, the fact that these guys were calling themselves pro fighters and losing by KO to Chuck Liddell was hillarious.
I'm right there with you. I was praying that he'd get over confident and lace on boxing gloves for a huge payday and get humiliated. Rampage and Evans came along and helped us out, but I wish a boxer had done it
